I bought this cowbell with a handle at Tactor Supply for $3.98. I think it’s for calling in you cows or something. It had a plastic handle grip that I slid off. I can now stick the handle in the ground wherever I want it and then have a good bell target.

The steel is pretty mild. It definitely wouldn’t stand up to firearms, but it’s doing okay with my break barrels.

Looks like it’s taken a bit of a beating with those 4 shots. Bass pro shops has some decent targets, but I highly recommend building a rubber mulch trap. All the materials cost me around $20 and it’ll last essentially forever. Unless you are looking for some sort of audible noise when shooting. The rubber mulch trap is super quiet, which is another reason I like mine as my neighbors may raise an eyebrow if I hit a cowbell 50 times.
