I would absolutely love to see a modernized reproduction of a Girandoni. I think the design is good enough that it could sell based on its performance as well as it's history.

Just shoot the stem.
Back home we used the drops for making apple jelly or apple sauce. Cut out the bad spots and use them.
Same for peaches, etc. Drops make the best jam. They're fully ripe.

That is sure and expensive apple harvesting tool!! Hell mine is a $30 pole that grabs the apple.....though yours looks much more fun.

It use to be orange juice, but as of lately it seem my addiction have changed to apple juice,,,,, lots of it, even cutting into my intake of milk which are now less than 1 liter a day.
