Nothing is selling as of late. Just wondering why nothing is selling in the classifieds? Or am I wrong and just the odd stuff is not moving.
Airguns and accessories are mostly sourced from overseas. I can't imagine that we aren't going to see big price increases over the next few months.I think that's just market saturation.
It's happened on other sports that I participate in. Skis, bikes, kayaks...even excluding the covid years the crappiest stuff was worth gold for a time.. but not when peeps want the next shiny thing. I'm sure others can come up w other examples.
It might actually drive the used market a bit eventually since some stuff won't be available new.....just a theory.
But, I would wonder how many of us are prepping for a a dry spell both in $ & scarcity? I accidentally ordered a 2nd HPC a few months ago & am not feeling too bad about that right now. It's agood time to be all set for whatever
O-rings don't worry me in the least. They could double in price and it wouldn't matter. Optics and the guns themselves on the other hand will be far more painful and I'm guessing there will be a lot products that are simply discontinued.I suspect many parts are sourced from terriffed origins. So being / buying 'murican won't save a mfr alone. Say good bye to fiber bottles.
Are you all good w o rings?
& judging by all of the pellet hoarders over in classifieds section, we can probably survive on the bartering system to get by...for a while anyways. Is being going like this for some time now .. I could think that most of the members that have a few years now buying have what they consider enough for their needs or use ME included .. and many new members would be possible incline to buy new , or the greatest newest toy .. but as I could see a gun prices to sell " reasonably " will sell anyway. I really don't see my sel buying anything.. new or used .
How many squirrel heads do you want for that tin of JSB?& judging by all of the pellet hoarders over in classifieds section, we can probably survive on the bartering system to get by...for a while anyways.
