Edgun Leihsiy 2 issues

I bought an EG2 right at a year ago. Maybe has two mags through it. I have resurrected for dealing with field rats. I've had the valve apart few times and been through all of Edgun West's videos. Valve seems fine now. Original issue was air leaking out during shots. Basically pull the trigger and massive air blast but pellet never shot.

Latest is unable to pressurize the tank. Air is escaping through the power port part. I did upgrade to the CF bottle. No leaks around that.

Mystery to me.

Thought I would ask around about my issue!

Thanks,

Tyler

Puck is installed correctly. Barrel is seated properly. I hook up to the compressor with the stock/tank part and it will not charge. I can put a finger over the puck area and you can feel the air leaking out. It will not pressurize. This started out with a mag not cycling issues.

Okay, so then it sounds like the trouble is in the plenum / valve area.

The parts on the bottom, do you have them all? I'm thinking about 1, 9, 41, 38, 10, 6, 5, 47, 2, 14...

Also, is 33 tight?

REPR or original?

Sounds like the valve is stuck open -- rhat happened to me when I first got mine from riding the trigger. I took it apart, pulled the reg, reseated the little ball and it hasn't recurred. I also highly reccomend adjusting the stand off screw for the valve pin. If it is too far in this condition happens easier.

I have about 3-4K shots on mine, tried and learned a large variety of brands and pellet weights until figure what it likes actually. I had leaks here and there but mostly as a learning curve, and now learned to take the L2 apart in minutes. Mostly the orings really like a precision handling and well lubed.
A quick question first?
Do you have a situation the mag sharing/shaving the pellets? Or the mag stuck and won't cycle=shoot?
What jets, cal and pellet weight, Reg pressure? or pellet speed so we can revers engineer the Reg pressure.

It's an original not REPR. I did find a bur on part 14. The valve ball part. I removed the bur. I want to like this thing but it's been a turd so far. And of course just out of the warranty. It sat for almost a year before I broke it out to deal with some rats. Still basically brand new. Maybe two mags through it in a year. $2600 paperweight as of now.
Part 14 is a ceramic ball. Are you sure it wasn’t broken? I’ve never heard of a burr on one.

That said, I don’t think 14 would cause air to leak out of barrel unless it’s broken up and stuck the valve open. I would concentrate more on 1,9,41,38 Any of these parts installed wrong or missing, and the valve can’t close. That ball is TINY and is easy misplaced. I think your best bet is to take it apart, and line everything up like you see in the picture and make sure A. Everything is there, and B. It’s in the right place.
It’s very easy to misplace some of those small parts, or put them in wrong.
Good luck!

If thr valve pin offset screw is too far in and you ride the trigger, the valve will dump. At least in my cass I had to take it apart down to thr ball and reassemble to refill. Then I correctly adjusted the offset screw and everything had been dandy.

Since OP has barely shot the gun, I'm guessing this is what happened -- if you aren't used to it, it's really, really to ride the trigger enough to do this because of "follow through" mudcle memory from shooting a normal trigger.

When the offset is correctly adjusted its much less of an issue (but you still don't want to ride it with this gun --- the trigger is a switch, not a trigger.)

Edgun products have a warranty? What repair facility?
As far as I know, Edgun West serves that function, generally. I believe some of the places they are distributing to also provide warranty service themselves.

From what I remember, it's 1 year. When I had the problem with mine, just trouble shot via email and then I did the repair, such as it was.

The 14 is for pin alignment only. If you push the 5 with fingernail shall move/slide easy.
Kind of Valve lock? Assuming the 1, 9, 41 is correctly installed and if the 38 is dry the 10 cannot slide well.
If the Reg is too high for the jets size - the mag indexing is not correct and that will shave the pellet and the mag will stuck.
Too much air dump? Where? on the muffler? Did you removed the 25?
