EDgun EdGun Leshi 2 pressure question

I have an Edgun Leshiy 2 with the largest bottle, which has a max fill pressure of 300 bar. I've only put 16 shots through it so far. After my last shot, I refilled the bottle to just under max (298 bar). However, after a couple of days, the pressure dropped to 286 bar.

I refilled it back to 298 bar, but after a couple of days, it dropped to 290. I topped it off again, and after a few days, it was back down to 286. No shots were put through it...only pressure added.

I reached out to the manufacturer, and they suggested that the pressure fluctuations were likely due to temperature changes. My only other PCP, a Huben GK1 (which has a much smaller air volume), doesn’t seem to experience the same issue.

Can anyone confirm if this is normal, or should I be concerned about a potential leak?

When you charge and Airgun, you increase the pressure (obviously). This increases the temperature in the bottle or récipient. Once it cools down it decreases pressure (due to physics). So it’s normal that your pressure drops after a charge.
You only might haVe a leak problem if you loose pressure every day (for instance every day a 5 bar drop). If not nothing to worry about. If you have a leak, nothing to worry about either. But then you’ll need to fix it ;-)

I would fill to 250 if I were you. Maxing out the pressure only leads to failed regulators. I’ve been filling mine that way for the last four years and still have the original non ear regulator in it. Zero problems with my Edgun ZERO. Hits exactly where I aim every time , filled my daily bag limit many times, so much so my hunting buddies with shotguns don’t even bother pulling their guns out with the Leshiy around.

I shoot mine down to near reg pressure and don't re fill until next time I'm going to use the gun and never over what the guns max pressure is. The difference in shot count between 250 and 300 bar is not worth the wear and tear on your Orings, JMHO

Thanks for the reply. I plan on keeping it around 250 (that's where I store my huben) but being new I wanted to make sure it could hold pressure over time.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to let it sit untouched for a week or so to see where it bottomes out at. In your opinion what would be a bar level that would cause you concern on your pcp?

It’s not about the bar level, it’s about the change. Once it’s cooled down it should stay the same. After 2 hours it should be cooled. Write down the pressure. And then check again the next day. It should be close. but not exactly the same. Differences in room temperarure can change a few bar.

was 298 next day 296 next day 290 next day 286...I'll check again tomorrow
