EDgun Edgun Leshiy 2

steve123, "power can be dialed down", may I ask you (or anyone) where power adjustability has been confirmed, I have missed it.

I'm assuming so, and also assuming it can be had in UK legal sub 12fpe, and it pretty much has to have adjustable power for accommodating all the different calibers.

Not sure exactly how the adjustments work but probably not uncommon to what we are used to already with other platforms/HST, REG, etc ....

Here's what was in the description - "The reservoir block is separated from the rifle within a second, which allows you to have several blocks, with different settings, for different ammunition and speed and switch from one rifle variant to another instantly."

That was one of my initial concerns. If I have to buy a different air reservoir for each caliber (basically the back half of the gun) that could get VERY expensive, not to mention, if you have a special edition color, trying to get multiples in the same color.

Surprised the 350mm would be $200 dollars vs. 250mm. That is $200 for 100mm extra barrel length.

Do we know what the power difference for the 350mm vs. the 250mm?

you are applying leshiy classic thought process though (i.e. only a barrel)... you have a moderator and longer barrel that you need to get with L2. The moderators on the L2's are not a an empty tube... it's a legit moderator (as you can tell from videos). More info I think soon on caliber kits... which would also need to include magazines.

Not to get too technical, but I asked this question a long time ago just about the barrel price difference on the classic. It turns out when you order blanks they come in 500mm lengths... the 250mm nets 2, and the 350mm has quite a bit of waste. The next jump is a 700mm blank, and the price difference is worse.

I wonder if the moderator can be flipped upside down like a M16/AR15 triangle handguard without clipping. I think it will be more comfortable having the wider portion of the moderator on your palm for offhand shooting.

Don’t think so based on this photo here.

Ed,

can you provide us some specs for the expected velocites /fpe for the different calibers with respects to the 250/350 mm barrels. Would be very appreciative.

Kindest regards

We are still testing, testing, testing, to find the best solution for all the calibers and energies. At least for now we have:

In caliber .30 with 250 mm barrel, JSB 2.9 grams -- 220 m/sec/720 f/sec, (70 Joles/51 ftlbf). From 250 bar down to 130 bar -- 20-24 shots with standard reservoir (doulbe) not with the bottle installed instead of the bottom reservoir. Regulator set to 130 bar. The more pressure after the regulatoer, the more energy it creates.

In caliber .30 with 250 mm barrel, JSB 2.9 grams -- 240 m/sec/864 f/sec, (83 Joles/61 ftlbf). From 250 bar down to 130 bar -- 24 shots with standard reservoir (doulbe) not with the bottle installed instead of the bottom reservoir. Regulator set to 130 bar. The more pressure after the regulatoer, the more energy it creates.

We speeded up in caliber .30 with 350 mm barrel the gun up to 147 Joles/108 ftlbf.

In caliber .25 with 250 mm barrel, JSB 1.645 grams -- 240 m/sec/864 f/sec, (47 Joles/35 ftlbf). From 250 bar down to 130 bar -- 24-30 shots with standard reservoir (doulbe) not with the bottle installed instead of the bottom reservoir. Regulator set to 130 bar. The more pressure after the regulatoer, the more energy it creates.

In caliber .25 with 250 mm barrel, JSB 1.645 grams -- 260 m/sec/936 f/sec, (56 Joles/41 ftlbf). From 250 bar down to 130 bar -- 30 shots with standard reservoir (doulbe) not with the bottle installed instead of the bottom reservoir. Regulator set to 130 bar. The more pressure after the regulatoer, the more energy it creates.

In caiber .22 and .177 we still make the test and optimization. The maximum speed in .177 I got was 345 m/sec/1246 f/sec. with 0.9 grams pellet. In .22 the same, it like heavy pelles.

Some shooting gest outdoor, frosty weather:

I did also the resourse test, over 700 shots in such tempo, no problem with the gun.

So, the guns is rubust. solid, relaible, interesting. And funny to shoot.

Pay attention that the regulator is able to work with such a speed as well as valve.

I know that you all wait for the information but I have no time for giving you all the information, too much work. No doubt I will provide you with all the data and figures, step by step, meanwhile the prepay order are today over 1'000 guns, that is both for Russia and the rest of the world. Yes, I expected that the gun is unique and interesting but not that much :)
