Mag started to over index a couple of pellet tin ago so change the rubber disc from 1.5mm to 3mm, been working perfect ever since
As you may remember the top of my plunger collapsed and I added a soft rubber disc to let the spring set the limit for stroke to 360/8 degrees instead of the plunger
any of you guys know what kind of acid to use to remove the nickel finish without hurting steel ?

Caswell has some metalx stripper: Nickel Stripper . I've used them many times, they're a solid company.

I'm waiting on Edgunwest to have a Hornet add-on available. They have it as a package when buying an L2, but not yet available for current L2 owners.

If that new mod works well, that would be a huge win . . . reducing the overall length considerably while (hopefully) reducing report. I would buy that b/c the factory long "silencer" is pretty useless.

^^^ why stop there, Sean? I'm sure you have a spare 60min SCBA tank that you can figure out some way to mount on the gun!

Hmmmmmm - backpack?
I'm messing with .25 slugs right now. The NSA 36.2gr and 38.9gr. Was pushing them in the 75 fpe range which was really wasting a lot of air. Slowed it down to middle 60's fpe and I'm using ~20-25 bar per 8 shot mag.
This is kinda my slug testing platform - having fun testing things out for now.
Had to get the extended butt stock and larger plenum to get the LOP so I could actually grip it. The larger plenum (+15cc) did give me a boost of about 20 fps on the upper end w/o changing anything else. And I guess I got an extra ~15cc of air storage from the longer butt stock.

That's interesting, I had thought about doing just that. How's the difference in length/weight vs the small bottle/shorter butt stock? And how's the feel?

The extra parts are adding a touch over 1" to the LOP. I'm 5'11" and a good size guy - for me the feel is fine. I had to move the scope back a bit to get the eye relief right again.
I've only had this setup complete for a day so once I get some more time with it I'll report back.

That's pretty cool - I like that Huma is staying creative and bringing new products to the market for the Leshiy 2 and not just some of the more popular new guns.
I have a Mod50 (not the Hornet setup) and it's definitely effective - but I've only tried it on .25/.30 and longer barrels. I only wonder how the .30 will do with a smaller .22 or .177 setup with a 250mm barrel. Still likely much quieter than stock moderator, but the short barrel setups are gonna have some pop to them.

Well, I figured this would happen eventually but not so soon. One of my magazine holder o-rings/bands snapped overnight and another is about to break any minute. This doesn't seem like the optimal design for this and we'll be swapping them out all the time (reminds me of the EDMU). Has anyone found a better alternative to these big o-rings?

Buy the same size but in Viton and they will last 20 times longer....again wrong material !
