EDgun Edgun Leshiy 2

Hint hint nudge nudge...

Anyone planning an externally adjustable needle and seat type adapter to adjust jet size?

No machinist, but it works in my head. 5 click lock settings x 2 and a closed position on 1 off the adjustment screws.

The internal jets work fine but if you really want to out tune that other hammer based gun... would be the ultimate adjustable pellet pusher.

For the record I give parts away to customers, I always have, I have asked Ed to make a parts kit that we will sell complete. If I am going to sell them, I don't want to use the labor to send out a single ball …”

My only good experience, with Brian @ EdGunWest, was with my initial purchase of a Leshiy 2 and a Mini Rover Direct Fill Compressor. After that, any attempt to receive after sales support has been a fail.

Every time I wanted to support my local dealer (EdGunWest) and purchase parts, parts were not available.

1. When I needed purchase the tool, for the externally adjusted regulator, I had to buy it from another EdGun Leshiy 2 dealer (Spain).

2. When I needed to purchase a gasket for the E.A.R. assembly, he told me to source it from Amazon.

3. When I needed to purchase an O-Ring, for the E.A.R. assembly, he told me to source it from Amazon.

4. When I needed to purchase a 16mm lock pin, he told me submit a $250 repair ticket. I had to buy the 16mm lock pin from another EdGun Leshiy 2 dealer (Spain).

5. When my Mini Rover Direct Fill Compressor failed, in less the two months after purchase in September, I contacted Brian November 5th, he gave me a bunch of excuses and to this date still has not provided warranty repair/replacement for the prematurely failed direct fill compressor.

First of all watch this:

Then think about covidohysteria that was synchronously started all over the world (and I am still convinced that there were not a serious reason to such reactioin to a normal virus). Then Federal Reserve System of USA printed billions and billion dollars which were not covered by any goods, that cunamy of the money forced the prices to go up dramatically, since business started to buy everything it could reach from gas to the metal. Then the logistic went down due to those facts, pluc trade war between USA and China. I cannot send Brian the guns and parts for months, though everything is ready and packed. Of course you should pay no attentin to those facts but blame Brian for that -- nice. That is what Media and government always want you to do -- think about small things, being unable to see the whole picture...

Brian boast that he gives free parts, Ed says Brian doesn’t have parts, due to logistics, others say it’s not worth Brian’s time to process small parts orders. I never asked for anything free, and wanted to support his shop by buying parts and accessories.

When my Mini Rover Direct Fill Compressor failed, in less the two months after purchase in September, I contacted Brian November 5th, Brian gave me a bunch of excuses and to this date still has not provided warranty repair/replacement for the prematurely failed direct fill compressor.

Well, the Spain shop never once had a problem with fulfilling any of my parts orders. Even when they mistakenly shipped me two 15.25mm lock pins, when the order was for 1x 15.25 and 1x 16mm lock pin, the Spain shop quickly responded and corrected the mistake.

Thank you, EDgun Shop Spain, for providing World Class customer service and support!

Suggesting rather that an externally adjustable jet would be a great addition. No problem with tighten plug ;)

Next time I am in the neighbourhood we shall have a vodka ;) komrad

I will surprise you but many Russians doesn't drink alcohol at all! Brian was in Russia, he can confirm it, besides Brian was very surprised how clean and safe our tonws are, he was really surprised :) So, i don' drink alcohol as well, but will be very please to drink tea in a russian way (we, mostly prefer to drink tea rather than coffe).

I haven't had any problems with Brian at EdgunWest. It's clear he's had some supply chain issues. But he seems to bend over backwards for customers. I've done several "annoying customer" things like:

1) Changed orders at the last minute and he was okay with that.

2) I messed-up installing the EaZy Fill hose (I did not understand what the teflon piece was for and mangled it) and he's looking for a replacement. It sounds like he's also making an installation video for people like me, who can mess up anything.

I've also purchased from Francisco at Edgun Spain, and had almost no problem with them -- the only issue I had was when purchasing the compact reservoir, I had assumed the circlip would be included. So I had to source a circlip after the fact, which was a bit annoying. But I probably should have asked more questions when I was purchasing the item.

I purchased my Leshiy 2 from Brian at EGW. Prior to hitting the button and being my 1st PCP I had a LOT of questions. Brian was patient and answered all of them without suger coating them or blowing smoke up my backside. It was his honesty and integrity that swayed me to go with the Leshiy 2.0. I could have gone with my 1st choice... a Brocock Ranger .22 from AGA... this was the one that caught my eye and convinced me that PCP might be my new hobby. That's when I started diving into specs of all the top PCP's and I came to AGN and read a lot before my purchase. I contacted Brian through email with my questions and ultimately decided on the Leshiy. He didn't push me one way or another just answered my questions and that's it. I'm not sorry for my decision and have since made more purchases from him and will continue to do so in the future. At this time the man's plate is rather full. I appreciate the dedication he has to improving his business and the fact that he is making solid decisions to increase his capability to meet customer expectations. I've had a LOT of fun showing my Leshiy to my friends... I think I might have the only one in the Roanoke/Fort Wayne IN area. Everybody that shoots it wants one... I even had one dude offer me stupid money for it... I'm like "Dude order your own!" and "Give me my gun back!". LOL

I have the compact version and was wondering in anyone is having sucesss making these things quiet. I was checking out the hornet mod 50 but was curious what noise levels to expect. I have my leshiy 2 compact in the classifieds but if I can come up with a cheap way to get this thing quiet enough I might just keep it. If anyone has shot a stock tiapan veteran compact .22 this is the level of quiet im going for. I don't do alot of shooting but I need something I can shoot squirrels from my deer stand and not scare away Bambi. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Im using one of Jack Ks shrouds that quiets it down a lot with minimal length moderator at the end.

the main loud area on mine comes from the breech where the puff of our comes out to the face. Others have mentioned this probably sounds a lot louder to the shooter.

I have some of these on the way in hopes the material will create a better seal

i have the long, but similar anyway. i was able to drop the db level from ~100 to 80-85db with a mod50, but the action itself is the limiting factor beyond that.

Fitted a custom 50mm pvc moderator (hair curlers) which makes muzzle report nearly none existent. The action is where the noise comes from. Part of the design and that we're probably stuck with.

I went with a longer barrel and turned the reg down. The action is quieter and the muzzle report is also quieter. I never shot mine stock though, it came 350mm with huma40 in 22cal.

sticman77's post made me think. Is it possible that your barrel is a smidge forward? I followed Brian's video on resetting the barrel position in case it may have shifted during shipping. As usual my wife's gun was a little peppier than mine. Turned out I was a tad more zealous tugging on the barrel on mine when resetting it which left a slight gap.

Sorry I can't tell you if there was a difference in loudness. Our 10m bench is next to the pool with wife floating in it when I attempted to take the first shot with my 30. We were super excited and I was so cautious about the safety that I forgot to put a mag in. Tunnel vision, blew the puck out and my hearing for the day....

I prefer to set the barrel position with a mag in place, set as far back as possible without causing drag on the mag.

Following advice from Sergey1972, placing a Scotch tape on the side, connecting to a magazine, helps to reduce loudness by 1-2db

Given that 3dB represents a “Just Noticeable Difference” for most people listening to dynamic sounds (as opposed to pure tones) why would you bother?

Even measuring a 1 dB change is difficult for most people using commonly available tools. I am pretty certain that it would be extremely difficult for you or anyone else to distinguish a 1 or 2 db change in the noise from an airgun discharge.

A 1 dB change represents the minimum threshold for an observer. It is the smallest difference perceptible by normal human hearing under very controlled conditions, and that’s using a pure tone (sine wave).
