While everything is looking good, my only concern is the grip. Not the factory red laminate grip for the L2 but aftermarket grips. I understand Ed wanting to use an AR-15 pistol grip because of the endless choices but not having a beaver tail incorporated into the L2 lower looks like it would be uncomfortable. On an AR15 lower, the high beaver tail is part of the grip. The areas in red are what I'm referring to.

Market your product when its production can fulfill the initial rush of orders...you don't need the funding from pre-orders to sustain a production, and if the product is good enough, any bank will give you a loan if you cannot fund the manufacturing/production process yourself. Pre-orders are for products with fragile back bones.

that over promises



and under-fulfills

Ummm? What's with the rant - I don't see anything prompting this other than maybe you weren't able to get on the 2 pre-orders. Everything was stated clearly before the pre-order and expected delivery date. I'm a happy 'beta tester' and look forward to 'testing'.

Sorry dude - I don't agree with a single thing you said above. Ed is an upstanding guy and the Elon musk of the airgun industry.

Колхоз -- дело добровольное! :) That is how we discribe it in Russia :) All are big boys, able to earn the money to spend it for the toys they want to play. One should have a very huge sence of self-confidence to teach those big boys what they should do with their rmoney and their wishes, very huge sence of self-confidence :)

Go buy other guns if you can’t stand the wait. Other companies in the world does this too, #justsaying. There’s already thousands lined up to buy the tesla truck and its still in the “who knows phase”. Companies have the right to market their product whether 6 months out or 60 months out. I say, make your judgment when you have the gun in your hands. Or wait for others to decide for you🤦🏽‍♂️ This maybe hobby for most but for me, its a form of harvesting food. I would like to buy a tool that will last a long time hence my question below

a question for ED, Brian, and the people in the know. I live and hunt in a small pacific island with thick forest, 100% humidity, 85-90 degrees year round weather, Salt spray in the air, and rains all the time. Anybody ever tried getting the gun soaked? If i get it wet, can i use a compressed air, blow it out, wipe it down and be good? Is it going to be reliable for long time? I dont have shops and sending it back is not an option. I have to do all maintenance and repairs myself. How about shooting slugs? Its easier for me to make slugs then pellets as its hard to get lead shipped out here sometimes. I have 30 cal slug cold press mold. Guns are illegal where i live but pellet guns/ PCPs are legal so am looking forward to the 350mm barrel set up in 30. Cal. Thanks in advance.

Like any weapon system, handle water within a reasonable amount of time. Putting a wet gun away in a bag is not a good idea. It sounds like you're more experienced than me in this environment so that I will answer with the gun is robust and straightforward. I was able to take it apart and put it back together the first time in under 2 hours, start to finish. Edguns are meant for field use, follow your regular cleaning routine, and you'll be fine.

Pesk, regarding the grip, it is not uncomfortable, the biggest issue is how it will interact with a 420 CC bottle. The good news is if you find a grip you love and want me to send it to Russia and have it made more "Leshiy 2 friendly," no problem.

The last thing I'll leave this thread with, don't be so angry. In my other line of work, I am reminded of how fragile life is, and for some unlucky people, it is too short. From accidents to violence and even father time, we are here for just a blink, don't be so arrogant as to tell other people how to live their lives if they are not hurting you. I am 100% confident that the Leshiy 2 pre-order has not impacted you negatively. To quote my favorite moviemaker Warren Miller: If you don't do it this year, you will be one year older when you do

Personally from my business perspective I don’t understand Ackuric’s POV. I mean when someone produces a product that many want to buy, and production is either limited or ramping up for maximum efficiency. The Producer can:

1. Delay sales at the risk of competitors catching up and capturing market share

2. Raise the price to a point where some consumers decide its too expensive for them, thereby getting their product to a limited few.

3. Or establish an orderly purchasing process to keep price down, keep customers interested and keep competitors at bay.

If I were Edgun I would choose option 3 also.

The guns is made of the steel and allum, plus synthecial, as any tool it needs to be serviced and kept in a normal surcamstances, but what you have describe shouldn't be a problem if you clean it after that and keep in a normal place. It is easy to service and replace the parts in case of necessaty.



No problem with the shooting slugs, just to find one with the best accuracy and kept well in the chamber of the magazine.
