You know, we are still running a lot of tests and most likely we will stay at the first idea, the universal valve for all caliber. Yes, in small caliber the air consumption will be not as effective as in big calibers, but it will allow to speed up the gun in a very wide range. Taking into consideration the trend for using slugs, that is not the bad idea, I suppose....

..slugs and the possibility to get more power with very heavy pellets in 177 for countries with airgun caliber restrictions

I love the Leshiy Classic, its a thing of beauty, very efficient with the right settings, always with Me, shoot it every day

For Me the Leshiy 2 will be more about fun than efficiency, fast shooting, kicking cans around

So My vote would be for power, but that's just Me, Myself and I :)

I'm hoping for a nice balance of power and "finesse", if I can use that word. 95% of its use will be for hunting. The other 5% for tuning and a bit of fun. I would like to be able to dial the .22 down nice and quiet and low fpe for close quarters birds or squirrels, and then kick it up to at least 70-80 fpe for the .30 to handle fox/racoon/coyote out to 50 yards. Pellets work fine for me, but if it shoots slugs in .30 to my accuracy standards that would be awesome, too. Though I am not going to be running 50 slug types through it to find the right one.

I have a lot of foxes hanging around my property and getting way too close to the house/dog/kids. Got a den in the neighbors yard and they are oblivious. It would be nice to be able to be archery hunting the woods out back for deer and have the L2 with me to take any I see down, with authority, as opposed to setting up to just hunt fox alone. I've taken them with .25 and .22 before, easily, but the .30 allows for longer distances and head shots (IMHO). And the L2 is going to give me that backpacker convenience and hopefully the power levels to boot. I did see 100 fpe on airgunheaven: "We speeded up in caliber .30 with 350 mm barrel the gun up to 147 Joules/108 ft.lbs" I imagine it's a beast to handle at that power, but hopefully it's manageable at 70/80.

yes a bit of recoil because of the low weight compared to other airguns but with the locked breech it will be straight back and not wag the back end as Leshiy Classic can do at high power (expanding o-ring)

Do you already have one to play with, towle?
