You know, we are still running a lot of tests and most likely we will stay at the first idea, the universal valve for all caliber. Yes, in small caliber the air consumption will be not as effective as in big calibers, but it will allow to speed up the gun in a very wide range. Taking into consideration the trend for using slugs, that is not the bad idea, I suppose....
I did see 100 fpe on airgunheaven: "We speeded up in caliber .30 with 350 mm barrel the gun up to 147 Joules/108 ft.lbs" I imagine it's a beast to handle at that power, but hopefully it's manageable at 70/80.

yes a bit of recoil because of the low weight compared to other airguns but with the locked breech it will be straight back and not wag the back end as Leshiy Classic can do at high power (expanding o-ring)
