I definitely do want the 9, however, if I can turn my current rig into a almost 9 with a 30 cal barrel, I think thst will be a hoot too, lighter smaller projectile traveling faster, should be just as destructive ! Failing thst I'll just buy a 9 lol

Agreed !! Slugs at a 1000 fps. Call Edgun west see if theyll sell you a butt.

You guys shall read about larger plenums, pros and cons. Not only Leshiy2 related but these are the findings across all platforms.
Just to recap short...
Larger plenum will allow you higher speed with lower Reg,
but
larger plenum will have longer recycle time from Reg,
also
the pressure in plenum cannot be close to Reg preset otherwise the Reg won't activate=lock.
Higher calibers yes can work, but don't go .22 or lower which use a lill sip only.

Lol yeah every shot I take with the 9 I can go get a cup of coffee before it fills. You can see on the chronograph too. Quick shots aren’t consistent

Slugs @ 1000 ...uhm, how accurate those are with that high speed?
I am just a target rings shooter... I could be wrong

lol I don’t know I’m just making stuff up. My Edguns actually are easier to shoot at mild powers and are accurate

FX hybrids have by far the best expansion. I've retrieved several from actual targets and they mushroom out perfectly dumping all their energy.

Just got a pack of hybrids, wow they are grouping so much tighter than the hades in 30 cal, they do go in the mag but are ever so slightly loose, you have to leave the mag on the gun and load them in like that, you couldn't have a spare mag full of them as they'd deffo just fall out - might get some slug mags and see how they sit in those, but they shoot very well and the expansion is insane, only shooting at about 800 fps too, also they fly much quieter than the hades

I just realized I received some hybrids a couple of days ago for use in a different rifle however, here are some pics of a freshly loaded slug mag. That's about all the lead that will fit in these mags! I haven't shot them yet but now I'm curious. This is my "Super .30" w/350mm and Raptor Reg set at 110b. It shoots JSB 44.75's at 800fps. I'll give the slugs a test and report back.

Awesome, so the hybrids fit the slug mags, if they shoot as well as they did from the standard mags without the loose fit, that might be my go too ammo! You have almost exactly the same set up as me, I have a 30 cal 350 running the apex/repr-x and also get about 800 fps with the 44.75gn hades - for the hybrids, I made no adjustments to pressure or jets no scope adjustments and they were dead on, 1 inch group at 25 yards, which is even more amazing as can switch between hades and hybrids with no faffing around! Only difference in our set ups is potentially the barrel, I'm running the new lothar walther premium polygonal unchocked 350/30 barrel from edgun Spain, its good! Definitely let me know how the hybrids run out of your setup with the slug mags ! I await with baited breath!

Mine just came with them I thought it was odd having red magazines when my other ones are all black. Pellets have to be seated for sure

They operated just fine! Here are the numbers from 8 rounds. I used a Monstrum 5x Prism at 30yds for this and found the slugs to hit slightly left and high. The 2 flyers were me being impatient. Point of aim was the center of the target. I'll post what pellets look like after this.

Here's an immediate followup with JSB 44.75 Diabolo pellets. I've got the gun setup for these. Hades fly exactly the same. Apparently I'm not quite getting 800fps with the reg set at 110b. I wonder why?

Interesting that the hades fly slightly faster than the hybrids, i would of expected the opposite! So are you shooting the hades from the slug mags also? Perhaps that's very slightly slowing the speed from the tighter grip of the mag, my hades are very loose in my standard mags but not enough to fall through ..... What jets are you running in your set up?
