EDgun Edgun Leshiy 2

If you have the Valkyrie kit there is a black tube that screws over the top of your barrel it sits very close to the Hand Guard be careful this is what happened to me I am sure there is ways around it just a heads up so you don't have this happen. If you are screwing on a Donnie FL on The alpha barrel you will have no problems only if you are using the kits with the black tube you will have this problem.

Just a heads up for anyone putting Picatinny rail's on the side of your hand guards there isn't enough clearance when you install the moderator kit it scratches the tube inside the handguard

Longer pins are coming. Simple fix, but you are correct

Mine will lock but it takes a little push not much but it will lock no problems. I also don't have any problems with the safety some guys say there's don't work I don't have any problems with the functioning of my Leshiy 2 at all except the hand guard clearance if you put a picatinny side rail on with a kit. I love the fit and finish of my leshiy.

I believe Brian addressed the safety when talking about swapping grips. Apparently the screw can go through and mess with the safety. Not sure if this was their issue or not, but one possibility.

Bummer about the M-Lok parts - I assume that's the Tishina kit its rubbing against? What if you tried to install the M-Lok mounts after the shroud is in place?

I came up with a simple 2 minute solution to remedy any mag backing removal issues. I don't have long fingernails, but I was able to open the mag 50% of the time on the first try. A simple little dot of black paint and a tiny bit of filing on one spot on the mag cover. Just line the two up each time and easy mag indexing and reload.

In regards to lowering the volume level, for those who want to enjoy their Leshiy 2 more but have noise concerns due to living in a suburban neighborhood, I've been testing out a few options. I purchased a 14mm adapter and a 14x1.25 adapter for my Shogun, not knowing how well the 14mm slide on would seat.

Keep in mind my results are completely subjective and based on the sound in an approx 25x40 finished basement with carpeting. Setup is 250mm .22 barrel, current reg setting is 115bar, shooting JSB 18.1 @ 800fps. Very close to the stock 130bar at this point, which really puts out a thump you feel throughout the house with stock 250mm moderator.

I tested the Shogun with the 14x1.25 adapter first. Took a lot of energy out of the volume and thump of the shot.

Next I seated the 14mm slide-on adapter and was very pleased it centered with minimal slop. I mounted a .22 Astille with one extension and nearly complete elimination of air thump. Definitely at the point of pellet hitting target is louder than the shot, which is unfortunately where I need to be for any outdoor backyard shooting.

I have a Valkerie kit on the way with a longer barrel so I'll do some comparison when it arrives. It should also look more clean than it does now with the exposed barrel.

I received my Tishina 150x350 for my Leshiy 2 .177 350 mm barrel today. I setup my CheckMate CM-140 sound meter and tested my stock Leshiy .177 250 mm barrel and Leshiy 2 in various configurations. The sound meter was setup 3 feet from the muzzle. Conditions: Temp = 67*, Humidity = 17%, Barometer = 29.75 inHg, Altitude = 7,126 ft, Back ground noise = 43.8 dBA.

Leshiy - average of 5 shots = 87.8 dBA

Leshiy 2 - average of 5 shots, no moderator = 95.0 dBA

Leshiy 2 - average of 5 shots, stock Moderator = 88.1 dBA

Leshiy 2 - average of 5 shots, Tanto = 89.3 dBA

Leshiy 2 - average of 5 shots, Tishina 150x350 = 87.4 dBA

I bought the Tishina because it allowed me to move my bipod farther forward and it looks "Kool". Added benefit, after the fact, is it is slightly less loud.

Still working on my trigger control but really liking my Leshiy 2! Below is a picture of my setup while testing with DonnyFL.

I like it!!! That Fortis pistol grip looks good on there as well. I had the same idea but I'm still waiting for my email notification from Brian.

😔

I have a question for some of you guys that have the Valkyrie handguards. Is there any flex in the handguard towards the front if you press down on top of the rail with a mounted bipod or if you use a QD sling cup towards the front of the rail for a 2 point sling pulling on it? Just wondering how much flex there is especially with the longer Valkyrie rails/handguards.
