EDgun Edgun Leshiy 2

Yes it’s a custom barrel, it was built by Yehor, it has a STX Heavy barrel liner.

That's pretty awesome. Is it doing a lot better with slugs than the 600 mm Ed gun barrel?

Don’t have any experience with the alpha precision 600mm barrel and I haven’t had a opportunity to shoot this barrel pass 38 yards yet. But the groups Yehor shot through it look good. It came with a custom magazine that fits slugs better(pellets will not fit in it)

My L2 setup: large plenum, two 0.3 values/jet and reg set to 165 bar. Shoots NSA slugs 43.8gr at 1024fps, 47.2gr 990fps and 49.5 at 976fps.

Dual Caliber Quick Change Setupe:

For a short time I had two Leshiy 2s because I wanted a low power .22 and high power .30 setup. But the reg and nozzles used different settings. Also discovered the larger plenum will definitely give a 10fpe boost on a .30/450mm setup. Just makes it annoying enough switching back and forth that two guns made sense in every way except financially as there was additional cost for second scope and mounts and accessories for the rail, etc. So I sold my second Leshiy 2 and went a different route to reduce cost.

I now have 2 barrels and two simple to swap valve setups. The high power setup is using the stock reg set at 160 bar with 0.2mm/0.3mm nozzles and the larger plenum. The lower power .22 setup has a Huma reg, 0.3mm/0.8mm nozzles and a standard plenum.

Swapping calibers is now as easy as drain air from tank, swap barrels while air is bleeding, swap reg/plenum/valve setup and refill. Longest part of the whole process is draining the air.

I love this idea!

I have a spare 150 bar reg and a nozzle kit that I have not bothered testing much because I find the factory tune to be about perfect. Maybe I should get one of these https://www.edgunleshiy.shop/collections/spare-parts-leshiy-2/products/leshiy-2-spare-parts-forward-plug?variant=39856125575318 and a plenum to have a max power slug tune as a back up.

How do you like the March 1-10 btw?

After taking a shot my L2 stopped indexing. The magazine is "locked" (meaning it cannot be rotated by hand) and will only "unlock" when the gun is opened.

So I followed Edguns YT video (the one where Brian narrates the whole film) about fixing indexing problems.

At the very last step(...), the one where one takes the valve apart, I found that the little 4mm black ball is completely missing...

Emailed my representative if he has any spares, but no reaction so far.

In the mean time got to reside back to old fashioned guns with side levers and such... (the agony, how lazy have we become in this day and age!... ;-) )

Comtruise same problem down at page 94, fixed it by adding a short spring

I have a Leshiy2 .25cal 350mm barrel. Can I shoot slugs? If so, where can I purchase the required magazine for slugs? I have NSA 43.8gn slugs. Thanks.

The L2 will shoot pellets out of the stock magazine as long as they are less than 0.442 inch long. The issue with the stock magazine is it's designed to hold pellets and most slugs are slightly smaller causing the slugs to fall out/through the magazine.

Did you lose that ball in dissasymbly, if not where could it have gone?

Gone with the wind?

I had the same issue about a month ago, open it up and didn't find the black ball. The ball had broken into pieces, i was able to shake the valve and the pieces fell out. I contacted Brian at EdgunWest and he shipped me out a replacement.

Thats really good. I have the stock plenum, with ed gun reg at 150 bar and a .3 / .2 jets and am getting 910 fps with the 43.8 NSA slugs. The groups are hunting worthy out to 100 (3 inch or so) yards. Would love to have a bit tighter at 100 yards. Would love to have mags that the slugs stay put in. I heard rumor somewhere that Ed was going to make slug mags but have not heard any more. Be great to hear how it groups for you out to 100 yards.

Fixed! I found a narrow (extension) spring, same as Comtruise uses in his post, cut off a small piece off of it and it works great! The L2 indexes smoother than ever before! (It always used to make some sort of extra click after the sound of the shot, as if the indexing happened very late, now it is only the sound of the shot that is heard, while the index sound is masked by it.

So a BIG Thank you Comtruise for this idea and great and simple fix, and thank you Towle for turning me on to this fix and saving my behind again!

BTW I changed caliber from .25 to .22 as the cost of pellets was getting sort of out of hand...;-) Even with the added cost of buying another barrel and a mag, this will be redeemed in no time, as you get an extra 150 shots per tin (JSB's) in .22 compared to .25...

I just installed the MOD50 on my L2 .25cal 350mm barrel and it is a whole lot better than the Tishina 200 (which didn't do much in suppressing the bark). Bought it from Huma along with the moderator adapter...works great. Brian would not sell me the moderator without the handguard (which I had already bought from him) due to a supply shortage, but Huma had the moderator to me within 3 days.

It looks just like this except with a MOD50 can and without the barrel shroud. The overall length is 35 inches. I have the Tishina handguard. I removed the Tishina can and barrel shroud and screwed on the MOD50 using the moderator adapter

M14x1.25 female to 1/2UNF-20 male. The MOD50 does not touch the handguard and without the shroud, you have more clearance for MLOC on the handguard. There is a significant decrease in Db's.
