EDgun Edgun Leshiy 2

Not wanting to spend the extra $$ for a pic rail I simply cut the OEM moderator...hacksaw and file and it was done. This is with the Behemoth moderator. Overall length with the 250mm barrel and Behemoth moderator is 29.5".

Yeah, that’s Keith - always being creative.
Since getting this I've replaced the air cylinder...bought another barrel....replaced the regulator....bought another moderator....basically was fed up with replacing things and just made this work. Almost $200 for a 3" picitinny rail just to fill the void seemed excessive.

Testing Reg YOU shall really shoot rings, 5 or 8 shot groups, change the Reg and repeat until you happy.
Longest distance you have access to for comfortable shooting.
Anything else is guesswork - placebo effect only.
This is a 50 Meters testing - Jets to Reg relation - for a given projectile,

.22 MRD's in this example, 2x0.7 jets

.22 Baracuda 21 with 2x0.6 jets

Ok, so I was thinking if my Leshiy 2 doesn’t sell (currently in the classifieds), I’d try changing the caliber and seeing if I can use It for a different purpose. It’s currently a .22 350, but I have a .30 500mm fix barrel, and a .30 mag. I would need to buy the adapter, but would I need new jets too? Or do you think I could get away with some mild power in .30?
im talking 850-880 with 44grn jsb pellets.

Have you done much shooting with the new Huma reg?
Any issues with refresh rates when shooting quickly?
Here’s a little refresh rate demo, of the Huma-Air Raptor Tuning Regulator, on my Leshiy 2 Hornet 250mm, with 20 gr ZAN Projectiles Slugs.

Here's some more great info on the new Huma Raptor reg. My 250mm .30 with the REPR reg was set up from the factory at 700fps for about 32shots before it fell off the reg at 100 bar. That's at a 250bar fill.

I just did a Chrono string with the Huma Raptor reg same fill 250 bar. I got 48 shots and it's still on the reg. Avg 703fps with a standard deviance of 5fps. So I'm getting 20 more shots with the new Raptor reg at the same fill pressure and speed.

The SD and ES with a REPR is - what it is, not much room to improve or fix there.
The Reg piston is moving on oring - wet or dry, hot or cold all effects the friction between the metal and the oring.
Also the Dwell on Valve is the same - the white "valve piston" (to call it) moves on oring.
I don't know what is a configuration inside the new Huma or how they port it, they may eliminated or minimized the friction inside Reg but that is only a partial fix for Reg recovery time.

I think it’s just as you stated @Redtick12. If the valve releases less air that equates to more shots. If there is a consistent release which is less than the previous regulator then shot count will go up.
If my answer is off please let me know but I think that is the answer.
My post was supposed to say I DON’T get how a regulator causes the valve to release less air, but if I am understanding what your saying is…you may have your reg set to say 140 bar, but if your reg is not as good it my actually be allowing 145 bar into the plenum and because the plenum is at a higher pressure the valve releases more air than had the reg really been at 140. Is that the gist of it?
