Not sure about latest L2 Regs' back back in time the first REPR surfaced many people blew the Reg oring in very first 5 minutes - including myself...From what I have read it is safe to adjust under pressure? ...
Thank you. I did try quarter turns and blank firing in between a couple times but I saw zero change in plenum pressure on the front gauge. This is concerning so I thought I would pick the brains of other L2 owners. If you start turning the key but not more then 15 minutes .... make couple blank shots. Every time you turn it one way stop there and blank shots and only then keep going where you wish - the Reg oring need those blank shots to stay in one piece.
Did you removed the ceramic ball from the hole?Thank you. I did try quarter turns and blank firing in between a couple times but I saw zero change in plenum pressure on the front gauge. This is concerning so I thought I would pick the brains of other L2 owners. Thank you for the response
Question - I have a new L2 9mm with the REPR-X regulator. I installed a digital guage in the front degassing port. The reg was set to 135 bar from Edgun Shop Spain. Do I adjust the reg clockwise or counterclockwise to increase pressure? From what I have read it is safe to adjust under pressure? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
Thank you for the video links. I had not seen the second one. In that video you can see that the digital gauge shows a pressure increase as soon as he turns the tool. When I adjust mine the gauge stays at 135 bar. So something is not right. Here's the instructional video for the old-fashioned regulator:
I don't think they have such a slick one for the new reg, but you can make out what he's doing in the video.
The main thing is to take small steps, like 1/8th of a turn between shots because you don't want to go too far.

Rifle is filled to 230 bar. Adapter & gauge supplied with new rifle installed as shown in photo as REPR-X does not have a guage port. Should be pretty straight forward. I have turned the reg clockwise to increase pressure a total 180 degrees and gauge stays steady at 135. I did turn it back to starting point and then counter clockwise with dry fires in between and pressure did not decrease...stayed at 135-137. It did go up one or two bar after I fired it but then returned to 135. The guage seams to be accurate - as I filled the tank I watched it and it matched the gauge on the butt of the rifle until I filled pass the regulator setting. I have emailed Edgun Shop Spain and awaiting a response. I am stumpedAre you measuring pressure from the same location? If so, your pressure measurement might not change for several reasons. If you adjust down, it won't change. And if you adjust up, and your main tank is at that pressure or lower, it won't change. If you adjust down, you'll only see the change after firing a shot (or two). That's why in the video he fires shots immediately after making adjustments.

Thank you for all the help. I figured I would have to work on it more. I have already had other issues and haven't even sent anything down range yetIt sounds like your regulator isn't regulating. Like others mentioned, this probably means a seal isn't quite working appropriately. EGS will probably instruct you on how to open it up to inspect the o-rings and various other sealing features. The pic gives you a basic idea for where the seal failure might occur.

Leshiy 2 is one big issue Only problems. Even on the 4th gen regulator - they are still not working. Glad I sold mine even though it costed me alot of money. I was repairing more than shooting
Some are good - other bad. I was through 3 regulators from warranty. All did creep from factory. When I got the latest apex and it was faulty - I sold the gun. There was many other problems as well (clipping behemoth, indexing and so on) but the reg problem did it to me.Me on the other hand, I've had a Leshiy 2 since the first day it was available. The only problem I had was I didn't torque the barrel appropriately and had to re-seat it. I've also occasionally shot it without either a puck or magazine in it. So basically, only self-induced problems.
I'm Ukrainian and have no incentive to like a Russian product, but there it is.
Thank you. I will do that. I got mine from Spain as well and found a few major things wrong so far. Hince, I am being patient and taking small steps. Can't wait to shoot it though!I really love to shoot my Leshiy, but it was a bit of a learning curve. In the beginning I had some issues, and in hindsight I think it was not properly set up by the supplier (Edgun Spain). My regulator did not work very well (it was almost impossible to turn it), trigger was not always working, ... All my issues were resolved by opening up the gun, cleaning it and reassembling. I even suspect the supplier of recycling used parts: the internals of my regulator showed heavy usage marks and my trigger rod was bent. Now it shoots very reliably and accurately.
So my advice for the regulator: watch a video instruction, open it up, clean it if necessary, check the o-rings and ball sealing and reassemble. Just be aware of the very small parts in it (don't lose the ball). And have fun while doing so, the Leshiy is pretty nice to work on ;-)
In that your photo how the adapter with gauge is installed....when you remove the setscrew there underneath is a ceramic ball... so not the setscrew seals but a ball underneath. If you didn't removed tat ball .... ???...in photo as REPR-X does not have a guage port...
My set screw in that location had a pointed end and sealed against a Delrin washer. I could be wrong but there was not a ball. I got the regulator to finally give. I gently turned it clockwise then back a tiny bit and it finally started increasing pressure. I am now at a steady 170 bar. Now I will see if it holds without change/ creep.I made a lapping tool (back about 2022) and lap-polished the ceramic ball nest in the REPR, and never creep again. Here is today @ 74 bars I didn't shoot the gun since Oct=3 months. Today I was doing firelapping my FX liners with L2 and this how I can confirm no creeping if you take wall care of the maintenance.
