Anyone see Brian’s latest video? He mentions a “new” moderator but it looks exactly like the huma mod 40 down to the same 4 sections. Also there is a black barrel cover I wonder if that will be available in the future
It looks like the first chamber is a lot bigger.

Sorry for the late response. I'm not sure as to who else sells the MOD40. I bought mine from Brian at EDgun West. I'm waiting for him to have more sections of the MOD40 in stock. For example, I need to get a start piece with 1/2×20 UNF threads so I can use it on my other airguns.

Aside from Brian, you can try Jeff at Trenier but he has a limited selection.
I had posted a thread a week or so back about concerns ordering a moderator direct from Huma to the US. I can share that the order, shipping and delivery went without incident. Also I think it got here from the Netherlands in about 3-4 days. Very impressive.

Correct. I noticed the lines in the first section aren’t the same so they are different products. I asked Brian he said to wait and see

Can’t help you with the 350mm barrel but I have the 450mm barrel and have one .2 jet and a plug in the valve. I have the reg at 160 bar and with the 45 grain JSP’s I’m getting 910 FPS which is 83 FPE. Your not going to get that with your 350mm barrel.

I have the Huma mod 40 from Brian. I use the shroud from the Valkyrie moderator kit to cover the barrel as it doesn’t fit in the aluminum forearms. One could use aluminum tubing cut to exact length and paint it flat black, or get fancy and use carbon fiber tubing. Git it oversized and use o rings between barrel and the tube like the FX guns.

I will concur with Leatherman's results. I've got a .30/450mm and with a 0.2mm nozzle and a plug I was getting in the same 80-85 fpe range with a 150 bar setting. Even if you bypass the regulator I don't think you'll get 108 fpe.
I'm trying to recall this conversation by Ed. Are you sure he wasn't talking in Joules? 108 Joules = 80 fpe.

Airgun Heaven’s original advertisement on website for the Leshiy 2 .30 350mm said it would make 108ftlbs. I posted the picture below back on May 20, 2020 .

You ain’t getting 108 foot pounds out of. 250 mm barrel on earth. It’s not just volume of air but how long the pressure can accelerate the pellet. I have tried every combination you can think of, including bypassing the reg and shooting at 300 bar.

Interesting, I think he was talking about a 350mm, Brian...though I don't think a 350mm can do 108.

It appears from video the only way for you to get 108ftbl you will need have a 600mm barrel shooting a 44gr pellet unregulated at 1050 ft./s

rford71 yep I've seen that vid long time ago. surprised at the coincidence. 108 fpe from modded L2 with 350 mm and stock L2 with 600 mm. The article I read was well before 600 mm barrel came out. It's just what I was told can be done with MODS. I found an article last summer that made the claim(not gonna find it again) called Brian he said yep I wrote it. Looks like rford71 found one and posted it above.
