EdGun Leshiy Classic

Well I was able to grab a Leshiy, the one that was talked about on here. So now I am on the hunt for some parts. I have been looking for another grip as well as an extension for the rifle. All the threads that I have looked at are old, and parts are no longer available. So where are guys getting grips and shroud extensions any more for these rifles?

Already love the little guy, and can't wait to get it scoped up and shooting.

Great little gun. I don't have mine any longer, but enjoyed it thoroughly while I did.

For parts here are a few sources to check:

  • Shroud extensions and moderators - DonnyFL and STO (Silent Thunder Ordinance). STO's mod insert is very effective. Also Eagle Vision made some parts - check their UK website for direct order.
  • Grips - Look up Steven Brown in the UK - he's the man.
  • Pellet holder - go to Huma's website.
  • Additional Airtube is from drozdpcp but considering current conditions that might not be likely.

Hope that helps.

Congrats, it's a thing of beauty - If you like the original grip but find it a bit short, Carm sells a extension or you can get one printed yourself, free 3D model file found here:

What caliber do you have and to what speeds do you plan to tune it?

For 22 and above, there have been a couple of the V2 DonnyFL extended baffles on the Classifieds recently. These allow you to use either length barrel and you can experiment with felt, foam, rubber, etc. to change the report. I have not had as good of luck with 177 shooting in the upper 800's or higher. To be fair, the same holds true for any insert I've tried that is sized for 25 or larger.

For 177 the best so far have been the Akula and the Custom Carbon Designs inserts.

[EDIT] For 25 the best is the STO insert. And it's really good with 22 as well.

The stock extension and aluminum sleeves are tough to find.

I moved last year and haven't done an unboxing and full inventory of my extra parts. I probably have several but need to decide about selling two of my Leshiys and with what parts before selling anything individually.

And what size hands do you have? And do you shoot with any young children?

I got my first Leshiy when my boys were around 10-11 years old and the slim 3d printed grip was ideal, although a bit small for me. Not bad from the bench but not great when carrying a Leshiy around in the field.

The Carm grip extension really transforms the stock grip. If you do order from them instead of 3d print I also really like their pellet dispensers and the butt pad extension.

I have both the first and second generation Stephen Brown grips. The second gen is smaller than the first. I'm probably somewhere in between but still enjoy both of them.

There is also new grip 3D printed grip on Ebay. It appears to be a somewhat large grip but I haven't tried one.

I forgot to mention the DonnyFL adapter. This is different from the V2 baffle extension. Unfortunately I don't believe Donny makes either of them anymore.

While I haven't used one, the appeal to me would be that no shroud extension or sleeve is required and you can carry your Leshiy in a pack with a thread protector on the adapter and then just thread on any 1/2" UNF moderator when you're ready to shoot. And of course if you have a larger pack you can also carry it in a ready to shoot configuration.

This only works with the 350mm barrels, IIRC.

There was also one of these in the Classifieds recently but I believe it sold.
