EDgun Matador Pellet Velocity Test

Shooting the 3 different Heavy 33.95's in my EDgun Matador R3M .25 Huma Magnum. I have 330 shots since receiving 11/13. Huma reg set at 135 bar by Brian at EDgunWest, hammer spring untouched from factory. Nice cool morning here in So AZ.

That is the best SD and ES for all 3 pellets that I have seen from the Matador, very encouraging! I have over 300 shots thru it so maybe it's "settling" in, hopefully. I believe conditions were prime this morning which had to help also. Normally a lot warmer here but cooler weather is coming. Haven't done any shooting at 100-200 yds as the range I belong to is limited to 75. I have room at home to set something up just need to do it.

I am waiting to see some results before trying it in mine. I have got my HST tuned pretty dang good now so I don't want to mess with it. I get 40 shots 899fps avg. from a 200 bar fill with an ES of 14fps (unsorted/weighed pellets) can get 50 shots if I feel like filling to 220bar. I have a .22 short. I think Brian (EDgun West) plans to test the power kit in a .22 so I am looking forward to that video!

Oh and yes, shoot it more they love the abuse! :)

The first day I got it I ran a mag thru for function and then 2 mags of MK II's over the Chrony at avg of 906.8, SD: 2.9, ES: 13, True MV: 911

Good call on the Huma! I'm sure that has a lot to do with the consistency.

I am also waiting for the .22 testing results. I can understand your reluctance to mess up a good thing without seeing some positive results. For $140 I would be awfully tempted to go for it. A .22 Magnum shooting 25.39's at 950 fps would be a beast!
