Edgun or Vulcan?

Today I placed a down payment on the Vulcan 2 Tactic (wood stock) in .25 caliber. I really wanted the synthetic stock but Tony at Talon Tunes advised that it weighs about 12 ounces more. Usually wood is heavier in stocks but I have no reason to doubt the man. The wood gun weighs 8 pounds so I don't want to add any weight because I still have to add a scope, rings and possibly a moderator. Tony told me about 3-5 weeks before he can get one. Gonna be a long wait. I'm excited to say the least.

Thanks for replying... let us know how that CZ does on .25. and as I said before, I really like the tactical over the regular, I think you did a great purchase, the waiting will be the worst part....

Absolutely LOVE my Vulcan 2 Tactic in .30
Tony was great dealing with and I was lucky to get one of the last two he had in stock. I originally wanted the synthetic stock as well but the wood stock is growing on me. This thing is a tack driver and went ahead and upgraded to the Ronin Moderator. This thing is quiet enough to shoot in my back yard as I live in town and I could t be happier. Don’t have any experience with the R5 but it is a lot nicer than my .25 Condor w/spin loc and I love that gun as well. Good luck with your decision and as others have said you can’t go wrong with either. I am a southpaw and having this side cocking lever on the right side and more forward is a godsend

CONGRATS MY BRAHDAH! Hope you’ll share some pics and give us a review when you receive her! I have one in 30 and am VERY HAPPY! As everyone already mentioned, These Guns Can Shoot! I have a second gen (older gun not new gen 2) bullpup and she shoots just as well!
One of my better groups I shot on her first outing. One mag (9shots) at 55 yards! I’m sure if these old eyes can shoot this, I’m sure you’ll do much better!

Very good Mark!! You can't beat a Vulcan. My go to gun was always my Cricket, now it's the Vulcan. Just feels better and I love the side cocking lever.

Mahalo Brahdah Zonk! I LOVE the charging handle on the left side of the Vulcan (right handed shooter). It’s Easy to grab and index! I find it much easier to stay in the glass and keep cheek weld when loading another round. I’ve gotten so used to the Vulcan that I’ve caught myself reaching for air on my other guns.... HAHAHA

I think I like it more in wood that in plastic, but Vulcans also look super nice in laminate...

I don’t think you’ll go wrong with a Tactic or Bullpup! This afternoon I ran out of JSB’s so tried some Hatsun Vortex pellets and these are the results! Best 10 shot group of the afternoon. The 30 has a 9 shot mag but loaded another one to get a 10 shot group. Lower left hole was there before I shot the group.Aloha
