Guys... before anyone overthinks this, We don’t need to discuss mass, inertia, momentum induced by empty vs loaded mag quite yet. The issue described is one of mechanical interference when pellets are not seated. I can tell you that there are very small differences in the id of the magazine chambers from hole to hole and from mag to mag... especially if one uses multiple brands of mags. Couple that with the variation we see in skirt diameter and the issue can be real.
I simply squeeze the skirt of the pellet and the forward section of the mag till I “feel” it seat.
Bull butter. I won’t own another EDgun with the current aged and sorry excuse for an indexing system. Done.

In my post I referenced “the issue being described”. Perhaps this will help folks understand what I was saying. Improper seating is a real issue for some. That’s all. Just trying to help folks out. First picture pellets are fully seated. Second picture 3 pellets are not seated and will likely have mechanical interference as the magazine rotates. Third picture is a closeup of where the interference will happen.
I am an admitted fan of EDguns and have no reservation about it.
