Educate me on empty breech indicators

I see some FT clubs require them but don't see any actual specs for them. Is it basically a brightly colored trimmer line that runs from breech to muzzle to prove you airgun is unloaded? Would appreciate a pic of one on your rifle if you have one.

Yes it is just trimmer line.

We just use zip ties inserted into the breech.

Any bright color zippy tie works great.

Ok thanks guys, that’s not so bad then if you just have to insert it few inches then. I was thinking it would be a hassle having to thread the line all the way through the breech and barrel until it exited the the muzzle.
