Change the suppressor for another one with a different internal design in a PCP cal. 22, the point of impact will change.
Is that a question or a statement?Change the suppressor for another one with a different internal design in a PCP cal. 22, the point of impact will change.
Really? Every time I've ever hung a suppressor on the end of a barrel of an airgun, POI shifted low. I have done this many times with many airguns. So I would say , yes. That's what happens.NOT...necessarily.
Mike
Yes that will make poi change. When done with the chrony, a couple shots with a few clicks and it’s all good.Anytime you hang anything off the end of a barrel POI will change.
That is why I can't get over the concept of hanging a chronograph on the end of a barrel.
You see it all the time. Chronographs hanging off the end of a barrel.
I have several DonnyFL's & a few other brands . Every gun I've changed Moderators on have needed a sighting session.Really? lol. So your experience is different than most. Not the norm.Have you shot MY guns, with the mufflers that "I've" used ?
Mike
Well, no. Say, are you one of the guys with feet in photos of your airguns?Have you shot MY guns, with the mufflers that "I've" used ?
Mike
I use the chronograph (FX pocket) only to set the necessary parameters and resets POI without it. To always check your speeds you have to use more expensive equipment and that's why I think of garmin xeroAnytime you hang anything off the end of a barrel POI will change.

it’s okay if the feet aren’t crusty. that’s just grossLadies and gentlemen, introducing a proud member of the." Feet in Photos club"
Agreed , this is what I usually do. But the OP's theory is correct as far as my experience has shown. IF I switch moderators for any reason , like sound comparison , I find some deviation in POI.That's why I install the moderator and leave it permanently. POI is then constant. I'm not touching the moderator. For me, he is one with a gun. This is how you will keep the parameters.
