Electric 4500 PSI Pump

Eaglebeak, so open the bleed screw before I connect the pump to the gun or air cylinder (which I have several extras of), (not air/scuba tank! which I don't have), start the pump, attach the nozzle to the air cylinder and then tighten the bleed screw? Is that correct?

No. Attach everything. Open the bleed on the pump, under where the hose comes out. Start the pump and close the bleed. Don't turn the pump off until you get your desired pressure in whatever you are filling. Stop and bleed the same as with a hand pump. The important part is to not stop and restart until you're finished otherwise the motor will be fighting against the built up pressure in the line from a standing start. Once the motor is up and running with all the momentum of the spinning mass, you can start to put load on it. That's about as plain as I can explain it. Like I said, It's not rocket science.
