ELR mice/squirrel

I would like a NV scope with LRF and to be able to click it to my exact yardage. I shoot too far at too small of stuff to be messing with preset distances then trying to wing it. I owe it to the animal to try to be exact.
Well, you click the pards. Once you range it hit the button again and it shows you where to holdover. It works great if you input all the ballistic info correctly and verify. Might have to tweak bc or scope height to get to actually be correct when you shoot. The do make a clip on with a lrf without ballistic calculator that way you could use use your turrets to dial then. I have never used a clip on and don't know how it affects placement of your scope for proper eye relief and cheek weld. It's the nv007. They also just came out with a front clip on with lrf as well.

That’s why having an adjustable LOP is required with a clip on.

Now that squirrel season is here, it’s time to take some squirrels off that feeder. The neighbor has a pole building about 80 yards from that feeder and he‘s been telling me to nail the squirrels all summer. They must be in there chewing on farm equipment. The mice are small but I have no wind. The squirrel are bigger but I always have wind so I get a little nervous at the guessing game beyond 75 yards. We don’t have constant winds here, it’s always changing so you have to trust your gut. At 131 yards it moved my slug maybe 2 inches today.

That's a nice fat one for sure. Great shot my man. I was surprised at how quick the slug got there. You should compete in Extreme FT, looks like you have your clicks & wind reading skills together.

A little off topic, but is that some sort of shrink wrap on your bottle? Just curious, might want to try that myself.
Thanks for the compliment but I really get nervous with an airgun in the wind. My cold shot out of this gun is 1,038fps. Then it’s 1,045-1,048fps after that so I add two clicks to my elevation in the 130 yard range. I got another one over there the other day in the same wind conditions but I caught it an inch or so back. It died right on the tree but I was reluctant to post that video because where my slug exited was a little graphic.

It’s golf club type shrink wrap. Some of us started using it three years ago. I try to use it on guns that go to the woods so I don’t chip a bottle. One thing, you will invent new swear words when you try to get it on a bottle.
