Empire xs setup

I have an empire xs on the way and am wondering if any of you who have skills tuning/ setting up rifles have any suggestions for adjustments that might be beneficial? I know someone, for example, had trouble with the fill probe orings getting nicked, and they used some tool to deburr or round the sharp sections.

So, if you have any suggestions for small changes that an ordinary civilian can make to improve the action or anything like that, I would love to know about it.

I've got one, in .22 .

Put air in the cylinder, a sight or scope of your choosing, pellets in the magazine, aim at a suitable target, and pull the trigger !
That's all that's required.

I adjusted mine to about 800fps, because that's all I need for my shorter (under 50yrds.) distance shooting. I've used 15.9, 18.1 and 25.4gr. (FX and JSB) pellets with only a small point of impact change.

Hint..."don't shove the fill probe into the cylinder with a jackhammer force", you'll be fine !! A light touch will get you there. A "light" coat of silicone grease might help a little.
I've had zero problems with mine in the (about) 8 months of owning it.

I tore my gun down before I even aired it up and shot it. Valve orings were nicked and I saw some other slight issues. Don’t know how much these things would have affected the average Joe. Some things you will want to pay attention to are. Make sure your trigger feels the same from fill to refill. Your POI doesn’t change with tank pressure. You can see this if your gun is accurate enough. It’s small but it’s there. And lastly, watch your cocking lever when you squeeze the trigger. See if it wants to pop open.
