Thanks! Yes it's been a pain, I have talked to Keith, and he sent me another barrel and LP reg, but this didn't cure the problems, and I think your right it stems from limiting the power for the UK market, they fit a much smaller transfer port which in theory this should necessitate increasing the HP reg pressure to get enough force to expel the pellet at the correct rate however in practise this seems to be a bit to hit-and-miss hence the reg pressure question.
The other major problem is the fact that the barrels are very tight at least the smaller calibres like .177 and on a cold day I have had pellets stick in the barrel and have to rod them out this seems to be compounded, but the metals used which in the case of the barrels/liners contracts a lot, the second barrel I was sent was slightly less tight and is a bit better but still not very accurate so am currently trying to source a long enough barrel to turn down to fit.
I am sure and all the evidence points to the Epoch being a fantastic gun if used in the way intended IE high power and larger calibres, but it's just strangled by sub 12, unfortunately.
I had long looked forward to getting the Epoch from when it first came out and after saving up and finally getting one it's been a bit of a disappointing and expensive journey.
