Skout Epoch tunes, anyone want to share?

I recently received a .22/1:20/25" caliber kit. I didn't see many posts with for tunes various combos.

I'm currently just trying to tune for JSB exact Heavy 18 gr (I have a lot of these as well as FX version). Initial setup: HP 900, LP 120, Dwell 26 getting around 885 fps. Still dialing it in for 50 yards. I'm not sure what the HP to LP ratio should be. Same goes for Dwell.

Would be nice to find a place to go for a starting point or just to compare with others for various combos and tunes.

LP goes up as HP is adjusted up ... once you near 2K on HP the LP likely will be hovering 160/170.
default dwell is 23 if my memory is correct.

Most tunes .22/.30 the HP is about 1300 to 1600 psi and LP 120-130 psi

I just installed the most recent firmware and voice packs. This reset the dwell to 23 so this does seem to be the default for the current firmware.

It’s been a minute since I shot the 18’s, but think I had good luck around 920 and again around 950 fps. Maybe 1300-1350 on HP reg.

Best thing for getting your epoch tuned is to replace the analog manometers and get some digitals. 1/8 npt thread. The 28mm are kinda tall and will stick out more. I went with the 25mm. This way you won't be guessing and double checking against a chronograph if you are at the right pressure for the HP reg.

After the digital gagues are installed, you can chart how the HP reg pressures are related to the fps. This way, when someone tells you to use a 25.3g at 930fps. You can look at the chart and see that you need to be at 1295-1300 on the HP reg. I do this for each weight i use.

You can make it a .22 quite easily. Mine was a .25. I watch your videos...you know this

Skout told me to dial the speed you want with the hp reg. Then you can move the dwell small increments (2) up and down. The groups will tell you where it likes.

This would be awesome! A swap to the 25” .30 barrel from the .25 without touching the settings should have the 44.75 right around 900. If that pans out this platform is truly impressive.

Yeah, I have to shoot some videos with my 3 foot+ long .30 cal barrel before I change calibers. I will be going for 150-200 yard shots with the longer barrel.
