Ergo grip vs stock grip

Depends on which ergo grip you go with. The zero degree grip for me wasn’t as comfortable, but the standard was really comfortable. They also make others. It seems larger hands work better with the ergo grips. I ended up with a fab defense grip on my mk2 impact, and found it more comfortable than the ergo. Unfortunately, it’s a trial and error when it comes to grips. Everyone’s hands are different.

YES. Definitely yes. But its a larger grip so if you have little hands you might not like it as well.

I agree with baloo.
I have a zero degree grip (or close to zero) on all of my AR / AK style grip guns. Though I haven't found a zero degree grip in the AK mount (Daystate Pulsar) yet, but I did get close, with a 15°.

I don't care for twisting my hand down like the factory AR / AK grip angles require.

But it's up to each individuals preferences...NOT copy what others do !

They AREN'T bank-book killers ! Just try one and see what you think !

if you don't like the angled grip, but also aren't a fan of 0 degree grips that are popular with bench shooters, you might also consider a reduced angle grip from bcm, which is not super expensive and gives you that storage area in the grip. this is assuming it fits ar-15 patterned grips.

When searching, read the details carefully. Some are also "larger / thicker" for larger hands. Finding "longer" grips takes a little "visual" searching. Doing a back to back visual, and then a...best guess from there.

I just bought one that fits (seemingly) for a gun that I should get next Wednesday (or Thursday).
It's made by ATI, X2 - AR grip. The front is nylon, the back half is rubber. The plastic has small sharp ridges cast into it that provides a very secure grip. The back half being rubber is somewhat obviously made for firearms, and made to soften the recoil. IT'S...a big grip ! I like larger grips, and this fills the bill nicely.

I got one on my Prophet , I call it the Orion grip, As he suggested it on the RTI site.
Its comfortable in the hand and has a lip at the bottom when your carrying your gun so it doesn't feel like the gun is going to slip out of your hands. I just ordered a second one for my Prophet II that will be here last of September . The Orion grip sounds cool.
LOL
