Getting this ErgoAir Fox Bat grip to fit the Rapid Air Worx HM1000x was a bit of a challenge, but it’s on there now! Scandinavian Arms bipod for support

Hi Mike,interesting grip
Nice Macgyvering on the fit
What is the white stuff on 1st pic?
do they come without the beavertail?

LOL...i thought you got aggravated with the dremel toolHi Mike,
The white stuff is chalk! So I could identify the raised points that needed to be sanded.![]()
A simple and inexpensive vinyl wrap https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084YBBMXW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1what is that camo looking stuff on your scope? I absolutely need it whatever it is for my Airforce build.
Technically it was the chassis...... but stillHe dremeled the Grip. Not the Gun itself.
I do the same when fitting the Royal Arms Grips.
You have the Royal Arms Grip? That's the one I use. I've done a bunch of those to fit Air Guns.I've got one of those. I bought it six months or more back.
Well VERY similar anyway. The surface is smoother, but the shape is very much the same. While in general, I like the shape, it's a bit small for my hand, otherwise it's pretty comfortable. I've thought of adding some epoxy to make it larger, I just haven't done it.
And yeah, I had to do some "fitting" also. Seems that most firearm grips need some massaging to fit the airguns.
No pictures.
Mike

Well, it's back to the MagPul grip - didn't like the ERGO vertical grip for benchrest.Nice job! I replaced the grip on my HM1000X - first with a MagPul then this ERGO Vertical Grip. Much better than the stock grip on the HM1000X. Also pretty easily installed - no chalk necessary! Also notice the CARM SSL - just got it and really like it. View attachment 449571
