Evanix Air Speed: HP Air Stripper, Baffle Stack and Shroud Ventilation (VIDEO)

Here is my tweaking contribution to the Evanix Air Speed. An already awesome semi-automatic airgun that brings the fun back into rapid shooting or great follow up shots. I adapted my HP Air Stripper design to the Evanix Air Speed.

The HPAS utilizes true multiport air stripping and redirection of a substantial amount of the turbulent air stream allowing the pellet/slug to enter atmospheric flight within a more conditioned and laminar air stream. Smoother projectile deliverance equates to higher FPS and more consistent groupings. There is also a complete 5 chamber baffle stack to help mitigate even more air turbulence and sound.

In this tutorial, I also show you how to ventilate and make your own ventilation port diffusers for your barrel shroud.

Enjoy

Hello all,

Could use some advice, Will the HP Air Stripper, Baffle Stack and Shroud Ventilation, work on the Evanix Max Air 2? it looks to be the same barrel / shroud as the Air speed. If so is the shroud ventilation step an added bonus or necessary step? I have a few more questions but they are based on the answer to ones I just asked so.... hopefully someone out there has some insight for me as this gun is causing me all sorts of grief. thanks guys

The Barrel and Shroud ID's and OD's are the same. Where things change will be the depth from the back of the cap to the face of the muzzle/air stripper. Just keep in mind that these designs are polymer-based and will not survive a pellet/slug strike. If you have clipping issues you may want to solve any possible barrel/crown issues prior to use.

Did you ever add the Air Stripper and baffles to your Max Air II ? I've been searching everywhere to get these and Haji no longer sells the kit he made for the Air Speed and he's unresponsive to my email about this. Can you please advise? I really want to add an Air Stripper and Baffles. I do have a DonnyFL FX and it made a difference but I want to quiet it down more for backyard shooting. I have the .25 Cal Max Air II. Thx, Gary
