Evanix ar6 scope mount issue

With my utg red dot this combo is about 2.7oz once I find a sale for the holosun or sig it will be even lighter.
The one thing that bugs me is the height above the barrel. But the riser only adds about 1/2 inch. So it must be my perception, along with the design of the action.

The height above the barrel IS a problem. If you shop around you will find reflex sights that directly mount to your receiver without an adaptor. This reduces the height above the barrel line appreciably and saves weight. I found a good sight on AliExpress for very small money and it works perfectly on my PP700SA. The money is so small, you can throw the sight away if it doesn't work.
