Evanix MAX-ML .44 cal BullPup review

Manny I usually make them 12 inches long for the 45 caliber Korean guns, some customers even go for the 1.75 inch diameter tube instead of the 1.5 inch that yours was made of. I think 8 inches in front would have been a safer bet than 6 inches, I thought 6 inches was pushing it for a 45 caliber. I am pretty sure 8 +3 behind with a 1.75 inch diameter tube would do a pretty decent job of taming it. Thanks for the testing bud and for posting the videos, it helps me see what is needed for them, all the best, Neil.

OK, so I had this gun now for a few weeks, I shot it a lot and feel now she has settled enough to take some shot strings,....today was with the stock spring.

I have a weaker spring coming from Will Piatt anyday so I'll be able to compare strings, and most likely improve the fast dropping velocities.

So, with a simple Hammerspring change I got a decent 4 shots Bell curve and even a usable 5th shot at close range all the while maintaining very accetable power.

That's it !!!! .....I want this gun

accuracy was good already with the extreme sloping string so it should be very, very good now, I'm sold

I just ordered a .454 sizer to take the .457 EPP/UG down

Manny, I'm curious why you chose the lighter spring? I thought 700 FPS was slow, but 650 FPS is really slow! You know, that I know, what hunting on the Northshore is like... mostly close range shots in dense forest. But why the need for 6 or 7 shots? Most of the time we're lucky to get 1 shot, super lucky to get 2 or 3 shots.

Well, my ammo of choice will be the .454 EPP/UG and I'm getting 4 shots over 700 fps, the stock spring was giving me to much vertical stringing with the lighter bullets ( not bad with the 200gr ) I didn't like that, now I can put all shots on POI.

This is gonna be my short range gun, bowhunting style in the 20 yards range so 700 fps with a 155gr bullet is more than enough

I just changed the scope so now I'll start to do some more settled accuracy testing, .......IMO this gun is a winner, I'm really liking it and we need to keep in mind this is the only .45 cal magazine fed Repeater BullPup on the market :) :) :)

Good deal, I neglected to see the most important part >>> consistent POI.

So today I wanted to recover some bullets to check the rifling engagement on this barrel.

1st of all, the gun now is set up with a 2-7 X 32 scope so I can do some more accurate accuracy testing
