Even Pyramyd air now "Pyramyd" is joining the E-bike revolution

I love my EMTB'S!

Only problem is finding others to ride with.

I would need one of these otherwise wife will never come with me :) but it must have battery life at least 60-80 Km.
The other problem I am seeing almost daily, that ppl riding ebikes don't know or never learned how fast these can go or what time need to stop.
I had couple close calls with riders incoming from front around a sharp corner... now I learned as well be more carefull and not lean in to cut the radius ;)

Not my future..lol cheap china scooter trump's them all day
Mopeds are so much more limited,
I grew up riding all kind of bikes from Mopeds to big one liter bikes and I will never go back to gas bikes, endless maintenance, break down continually, noisy, expensive to run,....no thanks I'm all in the E-bike, E-moto revolution.

The electro bikes look fun and practical. In my town I’ve seen people ride them on the sidewalks, run stop signs, ride on a no motor vehicle bike/walk path, and use their feet as brakes. I’ve seen the some of same things with human powered bikes, mopeds, and cars. Don’t get me wrong I’ve seen responsible usage as well but it’s the idiots that stick out. My town is not known for high IQ people, good drivers, or traffic enforcement.

I did not say moped .. scooter.
E-bikes, like airguns provide a noiseless source of power. They don’t spook game, aggravate the neighbor, and are both super economical so we can ride and shoot a lot more for less. Love my ebike and airguns!

What power? You mean that gas turbine or coal fired plant that alloes you to charge one ?

My air guns make noise as well and thats not having to run that compressor to fill it to even shoot it. Lol

Green climate change people are better then any comedy show. Just watch greta or kerry . The worlds biggest Hippocrates (+ them donkey folks) and serm to have a bigger footprint in a day then i all year . What a joke

My buddies gets up to 100 mph hiway speed and he put on the miles

Oh electric start and no peddling.

As many around here used at the beach maybe cost ya 1/4-1/2 that new price.

I think for use it depends on your living area and need . Here the ebike just dont come off to practical. Nyc maybe more practical. Some look good but for the money theres way better transportation that a giy dont wait on a charge or sweat peddling to go ..

Burning a gallon of gas dont worry my conscience . These climate change is all due to over population . Then notice India and china thumb there nose at that and your almost mandated / forced in to it.. go figure.

They are the future for sure. I know this isn’t exactly the type of e bike you are talking about but the technology has even pushed into the moto cross realm. Here is a short of the stark varge. First all electric moto cross bike.

Actually those are the bikes I'm talking about, just got me a full size Dirt bike and just blows my mind

The varge is definitely the top of the line today, I would love to test ride one.

Ebikes and young kids riding them are the ground based jet skiers and snowboarders of the water and snow world. Nobody exists except them.
We’ll be reading about ER visits before long. And insurance companies will be offering policies for them. An ebike crashing into a car will cause serious injury and damage to both parties potentially.

For sure and I should correct myself. The varg isn’t the first. There was another that I forget the model but it didn’t do very well. The varg seems solidly build and I believe will produce 80 hp. All 100% programmable (power settings) via a smartphone.

I remember from my 70’s dirt bike days a bike called a Rokon, still being manufactured I think. They were two wheel drive but the front wheel had an electric motor that was chain drive to a big sprocket on the wheel. I don’t think they were dirt bike fast though.
One cool thing is the inner tubes on the tires could hold spare gas or water. It was the humvee of two wheelers.

You probably thinking of the Alta, an other fantastic dirt bike,....Harley Davidson bougth the company, used the tech to make the 2 fantastic E-motos the are producing right now and in the process let the Alta die.

Tech in this fiel is moving so fast the E-motos will improve drammatically and fast, so is the charging,
there's a bike, the Energica Experia ( if I had the money I would be all over it ) that can easily go 170 miles and not by nursing it around and then you can re-charge it to 80% in 40 minutes,......fantastic on both counts.

Yes the Alta was the one I was thinking of. That energica looks pretty sweet. Be some economical transportation.
