The Minnesota field target association is having a match this Saturday at Oakdale gun club. We would love to attract more members.

One promise I will make, shoot field target for one year, and you will be a better shooter. You’ll be better shooter offhand. You’ll be a better shooter from the bench. You’ll be a better shooter when hunting.

We have both a springer and a PCP, all set up for you to try. We have experienced shooters to give you tips.

The club has a great bunch of guys. Including two shooters who currently shoot for team USA…And a former world champion.

The course layout is absolutely gorgeous. It’s set up on approximately 3 acres, in a totally secluded area of Oakdale gun club. Heavily wooded.

The match starts at 9 AM on Saturday. Please PM me if you have interest.

I’ve been shooting high powered varmint rifle’s, shotguns, rimfire’s my entire life. This is by far the funnest, and the best training if you want to become a better shooter.

it’s absolutely free to come out and give it a try… ever wanted to shoot a beautiful RAW 20 foot pound field target rifle…Or a tuned HW 77?

It’s right on the east side of the Twin Cities …

Ironically, we have a member who lives south east of Rochester. Certainly the possibility of future carpooling would exist.

How often do you hold airgun matches?

I tried searching the Oakdale gun club calendar but didn’t have much luck.

I’m in central Wisconsin but I have family in Menominie WI. Going on vacation this weekend but I would definitely be interested in a future match.

We have at a minimum one match per month, second Saturday of each month at 9 AM. The gun club, Oakdale does not manage it for us, which is why we would not be seen on their calendar or schedule. 

We would love to have you join us.

I would love to go to shoot in some of these matches,BUT I live in Iowa. Living and shooting in Iowa meens I seem to be the lonely only. If I was to setup a tourny I have a feeling that I would be the only entrant so I could buy myself the fanciest trophy to show off, and only a few people would know that not only was I the organizer but probably the only contestant too.

I believe I was at one of your shoots a few years ago with my AA EV2, I remember the individual shooting an FWB800 that was tricked out, and was driving a nice tesla

Was a great time and my young son had fun walking the woods and having fun! Everyone was great and very friendly, and more than willing to help with about anything. Though the 3 hour drive with the wife and 2 kids now would be a pain...lol Would be cool to see a traveling FT group in the area or something, though that would mean I would need to sight in my daystate MK3 lol



I am hoping you are the same guys, as I am not sure there is another group in the MN area.

Don’t be lonely! Come join us, Iowas not that far away. I drive down there to kill your pheasants every year. If you have a huge farm I’d be happy to visit! Plenty of hotels right near the range restaurants etc.

Same group same guys. I must not of been there when you came up. I used to drool over the March on that FWB…

We had to move the range to a new better site about five years ago. Same club. Same location. Just a different area within the compound.

When you need a break from mom and the kids you should seriously take a drive.

How are the rules on electronic guns?

Electronic rifles are just dandy. No problem whatsoever.
