Hey everybody, just wanted to start this thread. Seems like the Skout air gun content is all over the place so I was hoping to start this thread to consolidate a bit.
So to kick this off was just going to share my new Skout Evo that I got in November.
got it in .177 to shoot with a bunch of guys at my local gun club indoors. We shoot at about 17feet. (correction 18 yards ) but it’s quite competitive and very high precision is required.
I also picked up one of the SubMoa 30cal barrels.
haven’t got to shoot that one much but what I have it’s been lots of fun.
I did a little customizing of my gun and got a 700cc tank that was hydro dipped.

Anyone else out there customizing their Skout guns.

Hey enjoy shooting with you on Mondays but we shoot at 18 yds not 17 feet. Great guns and co. to do business with.

So Santa came a little early this year so here are my latest Skout Evo upgrades.
I installed digital gauges to both the high and low pressure regulators. I also custom made some carbon fiber covers to go over all three gauges to tidy things up.
Also upgraded my tripod, which i also get the added benefit of more weight to the front of the gun. And lastly, I picked this case up in Black Friday. ( I guess Santa thought I was worth it 🤣)
The case the Skout comes with is a bit short for my liking.. especially with a longer barrel and a moderator attached. I would have to remove it each time.

Im looking to do a EVO in .25. Hows everyone doing with that caliber. Second option is 22.
I have never tried one of the newer .25 barrels from Skout but the older one on my epoch is money with pellets. I can’t imagine they would go backwards so I wouldn’t hesitate to get a .25.

I was only going to do pellets since I only have 100 yards (91.44 m) near me, then maybe try the shout slugs.

100 and closer ... either caliber would do you proud !!
Cost savings goes to the .22 cal by a pretty good margin as does projectile choices over the .25 cal

Buddy of mine just purchased an EVO in .22 with Pellet/ Slug barrel and using Corbin 33's ..... FANTASTIC SHOOTER, JSB or JTS 25.4 pellets are equally impressive (y)

Anyone know why the shot counter won't reset on my Epoch?
I just checked on mine...the counter does not reset like on my previous mother board(needed to replace mine after a weird glitch)
If you really need to reset it...factory reset is an option..or you could remove the battery for a bit
When i got my rifle a year ago, i thought the shot counter was a nifty feature ...but i can say that i have checked on it maybe 2 times since i have owned the rifle
I probably have over 30k shots on my Epoch from last year ..probably going to do more this year
