Skout did something really cool for us, Team Centercut. It’s a custom boot up display with the Team logo! Thanks Skout!!!

Thanks! Yes, says it can be reset in the manual, but in practice it won't reset by normal button pressing.I just checked on mine...the counter does not reset like on my previous mother board(needed to replace mine after a weird glitch)
If you really need to reset it...factory reset is an option..or you could remove the battery for a bit
When i got my rifle a year ago, i thought the shot counter was a nifty feature ...but i can say that i have checked on it maybe 2 times since i have owned the rifle
I probably have over 30k shots on my Epoch from last year ..probably going to do more this year

Thanks for posting this, as I am dealing with that same situation, slight puff of air, no fire…No but I did a while back have it quit firing and all it was doing was making a puffing sound.
I called Skout ( I recommend doing that any time you need something) and tried to trouble shoot but they weren’t entirely sure what the problem was. I really really didn’t wanna have to box it up and send it back so I ended up taking the gun apart by the handle and looking over the solenoid valve because I had a sneaky suspicion that’s what it was., and it actually was. What it happened is the solenoid valve has 2 halves… well it had unscrewed its self, so that puff of air that I was hearing was Air that was supposed to be going into the valve chamber, which would cause it to cycle open.
It was a simple fix of just screwing the 2 sections back together, and voilà back up and running.
The more I tinker with the gun the more I love how intuitive it is and so so easy to work on.
yes it’s electronic but the design is very simple.
I say simple compared to say the internals and triggers on a 10 meter gun…. There like taking a Swiss watch apart
skout is always been amazing with their tech support and willingness to walk you through any issues.
They all do that. It’s not a double fire. Skout knows about it. It doesn’t affect pellet speed but sounds like a dry fire. IMHO only, it seems high pressure air gets built up between the two orings on the outer valve rod and occasionally “burps” when pressure builds up high enough. I could be wrong.Another question for those that may know, although I have asked Skout via PM but no answer, occasionally I get what feels like a double fire but no variation in the fps hard to describe but that the closest I can word it, anyone else have this?
Yep, it’s the solenoid valve so there’s a little cage that’s metal that holds it on you just unbolt that and you’ll see the 2 sections with a gasket in between, there’s two long screws that screw them both together. Just tighten it back down and then screw everything in and you’ll be back to working. Thanks for posting this, as I am dealing with that same situation, slight puff of air, no fire…
Agree with Centercut on the explanation of the double "pfff"Another question for those that may know, although I have asked Skout via PM but no answer, occasionally I get what feels like a double fire but no variation in the fps hard to describe but that the closest I can word it, anyone else have this?
I would check the solenoid though, might be a small bit of air escaping if something is coming looseAgree with Centercut on the explanation of the double "pfff"
has no effect on the poi or fps..just sounds weird..kinda sounds like shooting with an open bolt
We’re talking two separate things. The one I’m discussing is the “dry fire” sound while shooting. Maybe once every 25 to 30 shots. Doesn’t affect anything just a little surprising. Both my Epoch and Evo do it as do Mikes and Augie’s.I would check the solenoid though, might be a small bit of air escaping if something is coming loose
Turn up the electronic DWELL a few numbers. Thanks for posting this, as I am dealing with that same situation, slight puff of air, no fire…
Is it a big drop in feet per second or is it just a little bit, like what are we talking here?Glad It's not just my gun it's a weird sound but does nothing abnormal, unlike the odd drops in fps I get every so often, but I am starting to wonder if it's got to do with the strangled valve transfer port as like I was saying before the dwell setting doesn't seem to do much IE way too subtle.
Well I will be seeing a pretty consistent string of say 784fps give or take and then out of the blue I will get a random 752fps or less, so I will see a max spread of 32fps but a STD deviation of just4.4 now they are not just pellet weight as my other guns don't see that from the same batch so it got to be the gun and I will see this maybe 5 time out of 100 shots sometimes more sometimes less.Is it a big drop in feet per second or is it just a little bit, like what are we talking here?
