He specifically says that this rifle doesn’t have the “balanced style” valve that the high power models do.I found it interesting that the type of hammer has been left out completely, is it the old Harper slingshot design, SSG or something else?
Also, Jeff mentions that it's a balanced valve design, but I can see no evidence of that.
Agree - very clean simple designDoesn't seem to have a whole lot of O-rings.
The new Blackwolf its kinda like FX…but for men.Agree - very clean simple design
mistakes are:
you must degas this gun to reduce reg pressure
ok but
no valve in bottle or tube,
So no specific smart way for degassing before lowering reg pressure
at least with a ghost you can unscrew the bottle.
I figure people should enjoy their money while they can…. You sure can‘t take it with you. Some folks like spending $5000. On a one week cruise ship and some like buying Porsche. If a Blackwolf brings someone joy.…. good for them, I figure it’s not for me to judge how others spend their money.Spending $2000 on a PCP ?
Why?
Warranty: a few years and then you are on your own
Availability of parts: NO
Build quality: YES, but you still need to be able to change o'rings
More accurate: really really hope it is much much more accurate than a $300 PCP
Prestige and bragging credits: YES
I guess I do not have dreams of winning competitions and I will never spend $2000 on a PCP.
Good luck to all of you with your $2000 PCPs listed in the classifieds.
