I have 6 PCP's and 2 springers and 3 low cost airguns. With my PCP's I have my bases covered in around 10 fpe increments with my 2 closest being a pp700 and Prod and up to around 50 fpe . I could get buy with one but like many I'm a little overboard with my hobbies. I don't need 13 RC cars and trucks but it's something I've enjoyed for a long time . It does bother me how many things I have that set but in time they do get used . One of my problems is when I have an airgun dialed in I use it for several months and seldom jump around. I do have a Raccoon causing problems so my most powerful pcp will get used soon . Lately I've been pesting smaller squirrels so my lower powered .177 with slugs has been doing a the job . It mostly depends on the size of the pest that is causing problems or damage as to which one I use . Mice are my biggest problem and yesterday I had 5 in my traps I lay them out for the crows and hawks and they don't last long , usually less than a half hour.

I don't take $10,000 vacations so I justify my spending with something I can enjoy at home and I can recoup some of the cost . I also have too many firearms but some are worth more that I paid for them many years ago so I look at them like assets.

I'll leave it at .. having sold / flipped more air guns than i currently own ( near 20 currently ) leaving me with AG's I seldom if ever shoot  But the uniqueness of those that stick around is why they do (y)
Oups :ROFLMAO: just did a recount of whats put away and in safe/s etc .... closer to 35 or which @ 10 being a pistol of some sort.

Damn I'm a Air Gun hoarder (y):giggle:

Now that is a great question. 10 years ago my gun safes(2), were full. Hard to even see what was in them. Now, including pistols, my grand total is 15. This is rimfire, centerfire, shotguns, air rifles and pistols. And I do not even shoot all of them regularly. I’m 65 now. Hopefully have at least another 20 good years, just did not need all the stuff I no longer shot.

I've got 5 airguns total, all in .177 cal: 2 PCP rifles and one PCP pistol and then a pair of MSPs (1 rfile and 1 pistol). I don't plan on parting with any of them and I plan on owning more. For what I am doing, I've got my practical bases covered and I don't need more (or at least no one is making anything that I can't live without for now). I don't think I have enough, but I also have no justification to add to the accumulation... for the moment. In a word: satisfied.

For the last couple years I’ve kind of vanished from the airgun forums / community to follow other interests and hobbies. Now over the last few months I’ve come full circle and rediscovered my love for airguns and modifying them. I’ve jumped from brand to brand, and have held onto my favourites and let the others go. Now for the serious question. How many guns can one own before it becomes apparent that you simply have too many? A few pics of why I’m asking the question. And feeling a bit shameful that that’s not the entire collection.

Boy — I think you're close! Over the past 40 years I have purchased more guns than you have displayed in your pictures, and I have finally reached the end of the line. When your toys are just sitting on the wall or in a closet or safe for years on end without being touched, it's probably time to start liquidating your least favorite and least used guns to either make room for something newer/more powerful/prettier, or easier-to-access and shoot. From my experience, guns don't appreciate at the rate that we were always lead to believe. And hobby communities like air rifles, Ham radios, astronomy, astrophotography, etc... are no longer growing in popularity. The current generation of young people would rather play video games or produce TikTok or YouTube videos than actually go out and physically participate in a hobby or sport like older generations did.
