Events Extreme Benchrest 2024

Congratulations to all winners. Good shooting.

I didn't realized that EBR Arizona offered springers Bench Rest.

Is there an equipment list for the springer event? Just curious what caliber and what power they were shooting. From the results, it looked like the wind was horrendous on springers.
That's why I asked why you didn't go. Lol. 100 yard shooting might be too challenging with a springer, but it seems lots of guys do it.

I think they shoot 50 yards not 100 yards for springer bench rest in EBR.

I didn't go because

1. I didn't know they offered springer class bench rest
2. I don't have a 50 yards bench springer rifle ...most of my springers are 0.177, WFTF sub 12 FPE (I don't think that's ideal for bucking the wind in Arizona). ...I think I need something closer to 14-16 FPE. and maybe 0.22 caliber? (maybe I'm wrong...maybe there are some sub 12 FPE in the winner circle. Awaiting equipment list information).
3. bench is a whole new ball game. It's very different from WFTF. I'll need to practice.

Next year ...maybe. If my CFO allocate the funds.

The EFT event at EBR is the finale in their 2024 EFT series.

There is a limited number of spots. They want the proven best shooters to be there. The way to prove that you are deserving of one of the reserved spots is to attend other EFT matches that are not impacted by too many participants, and if you do well there, you’ll have a preferential spot at EBR.

EBR has grown about as much as it can comfortably handle. It’s those other EFT matches that will “help the sport grow”.
Unlimited Field Target‘s is gonna help grow the sport. extreme Field Target just growing someone’s wallet because you have to have permission and play by their rules. They’re in control although they didn’t set the rules. Their rules were for American Field Target.(see 2015-2019)EBR results. Next there will be a lower power division in EFT. Lets see their targets consistently fall with 20ftlb of energy. That was reason for the over Built S&S targets they can be adjusted to consistently fall from 12 ftlbs @55 yds - 120ftlbs@100 yards. S&S targets, one target multiple uses.

Great shooting Keith! Welcome to Pro Division! I was in Relay 2 and followed Keith on the same benches for cards 1 (bench 40) and 2 (bench 20). That bench where he shot the 242-12x at 75 yards was not an easy bench location right next to the berm with left to right winds... I shot 241 and 242, but Keith put a whoopin' on me in the finals (223). I had two flyers like Keith did in the 75-yard card 2 (targets 22 and 24), but unfortunately mine were in the finals... :(
