And 6000 psi Nitrogen in a 494 cu ft steel tank from Airgas is exactly why I bought this. Tired of paying for Nitrogen thatdoesnt get used

Pretty happy with altaros. Bought used one. Haven't leak checked properly yet. Did fill 74 cf tiger shark 2000 to 4500 @ 500 psi an hour. Again slow due to leaks (will fix). Automatically stopped at 4500 perfect.

As far as electricity it need 5v for the logic. A power bank like you use for your cell phone will work. The electricity just powers the little solenoid valve that activates the cycle right to left.

Rebuilding another used one to use as a bottle to bottle booster. Really well made and simple to rebuild.

This is where the Altaros really shines as it will work properly down to some 70-80psi feed pressure, thus the N2 tank can be returned empty. Not at the 1000psi'ish the true boosters need to work.

Thanks for that info Steve. I s was wondering if the unit could be used with a secondary source of L.P. 100 psi air rather than a single HP carbon fiber tank to drive it without wasting HP air. Apparently so. You can connect a compressor tot he L.P side yes?

I just picked up the new Huben K1 2021 edition and though she is a beast it likes to eat much air. Was leaning towards AYRTEKK booster but the high price is putting me off.
