Eyebox problems

Helllo my airgun friends, I'm using a Element Helix 6x24x50, a Sfp and I realy don't like the unforgiving eyebox. So I want something else. Price range about $850. I'm shooting mostly between 50 and 100 yards benchrest and very occasionally hft. Can you give me some advice? Clear glass a good eyebox and a 30mm tube is a must.
Should I stay at SFP or go for FFP

If you plan to shoot HFT, then an SFP scope is best, IMO. You'll want your reticle to stay as large as possible for estimating holdover. I just bough one of the new Athlon Heras 6-24 SFP scopes and am very impressed with all it's features and optical quality. You can also get a 4-20 but it's a 1 inch tube if that makes any difference. I don't think it would and the scope is lighter too.

Even with scopes that have a tighter eye box than others it usually comes down to scope/gun setup. If you can’t adjust your cheek height get rings that bring the scope closer to the level of your eye when on the gun. Then make sure you’ve got the eye relief on the scope at distance from your eye that gives you a full view without any dark edges around the lens , most scopes are 3”-3.5” on eye relief give or take. This could take several tries to get it right but in the end you should be able to shoulder your gun with your eyes closed and when you open them you should be right behind the scope.

I would agree with most all of the advice that has been posted here as well. Solid.
