Falcon X50 16x Markings

Solution
The very first ones to make it to the US DO NOT have 16x markings. One of these is sitting in my gun cabinet.

Later shipments DO have 16x markings, after Falcon heeded our concerns and had a 16x mark added.
Just wanted to add that Falcon has been quite responsive via email. It's been awhile, but I had multiple correspondences with Nick Watts, of Falcon, as did some other shooters here in the the field target scene in Arizona. We told him about how big a problem it is to not have a 16x mark, and he subsequently fixed it on future production runs.

Ben Spencer, that puts on the Xtreme Field Target matches here in AZ has had their newest offering, an "Endura" for a few months and Nick has been great about emailing back and forth with suggestions and essentially product support and constructive criticisms of the Endura.

Caring what the market thinks about your product takes a company up a couple notches (in my book), and Falcon seems to care.

I pulled the trigger on one earlier today. Looking forward to getting it setup and ready for the next season. Should be a nice step up from my Vector Sentinel I had been using. Thanks for all your help!

I hope you like it as well as I do mine. You probably came across my past comments in your research but to summarize, my X50 has the smallest "snap in/snap out" of focus of any scope I've worked up for field target (granted, not many). That feature alone makes my specimen an amazing scope for field target. I hope yours is the same.

Yeah I've read a lot of really good things about it. Krale had it for $806 so I figured it was time to give it a try. Its just ashame that if it was $6 cheaper I could have avoided the extra duty fees on it. Still a good deal though so I'm happy.

Nice score! does that price include the big silver Harris? wheel?
It looks black in the picture but it does include a "130 mm aluminium parallax wheel made by Harris England"

Mine came with that same one, but raw aluminum. In the photo you shared it does indeed appear to be anodized black. It's a nice wheel. Secures to the parallax knob with three grub screws and a sort of split ring inside of a non split ring configuration. The non split ring has the threads for the grub screws. Works well without marring up the knob. I take mine off for travel but it's pretty repeatable by making a mark on the wheel for minimum travel and just aligning that mark with the reference point used for wheel position when I reinstall it.

I think Pyramyd had that same package of scope and wheel up around $1200 at one point. So you did well.

That is very good to know. Depth of Field makes a big difference and is a trade off when looking for scopes that many people ignore. Having it really short helps for FT as you mentioned, but would really suck for PRS style. This a good nugget for people considering this scope.
