Tuning Faster Nipple Leak

AA S200 has a leak on the male nipple with the "ball Check."

I charged the tank put the nipple in a cup of water and bubbles are coming from around the "ball."

Is it time for a new nipple or maybe debris or oring/seal replacement? Anyone know that could help?

Not sure if this is similar to a "Foster." ( different profile)

I had a similar issue recently on a Crosman gun. After a fill from my tank, all of the air would leak out from the gun’s reservoir through my SCBA tank’s bleed valve once I closed the tank valve and attempted to bleed the fill whip. If I removed the female foster connect on the fill whip while it was draining the reservoir the air would continue to rush out of the gun’s foster fill nipple (disconnecting a fill whip while the reservoir is pressurized is an unsafe practice by the way).

I purchased a new fill assembly for good measure, because I couldn’t get my old assembly apart without feeling like I was risking stripping or breaking something. I was told by customer service rep to place a small drop of silicone chamber oil into the tip of the foster fill nipple (on the mesh screen) and then attempt to pressurize the reservoir. I didn’t do this because I don’t have the oil that was suggested. If I’d ordered some the replacement assembly would likely beat the oil to me.

It’s possible that you have some sort of debris in there and it wouldn’t hurt to check the o-ring either. Have you been able to remove and take apart the assembly to look at the fill nipple components? Can you post a photo of the fill assembly in question? You may only need to change out the fill nipple.

I was able to get the nipple off. I had a leak at tank but put a new oring on it.
