***favorite. Pcp****

I don't have access to a lot of PCP's, so it's a limited set to choose from. After owning a Marauder, handling a Wildcat, Bobcat, and Streamline, and shooting a Royal, the FX Royal by far. It just felt GOOD! Accurate too. It was a .25 cal, so packed a punch as well.

For an inexpensive gun, the .22 Marauder. Good trigger, excellent accuracy at 25 yards, lots and lots of choices
for a No Limits type gun that is in production today, FX Royal. Better trigger, more accuracy, ergonomics fantastic, but you do pay for it. It's a $450 gun vs a $1600 gun.

when the Crown comes out, that may change my mind, but for today, the Royal wins, and when enough $$ are available, will be my next purchase.

RAW HM1000 25 Cal. Accuracy, quality workmanship, fantastic trigger, customized to exactly what I wanted, beautiful walnut. One hole groups at 50 are normal, 1 inch or better at 100 in calm conditions with a capable shooter. It's a bit heavy for off hand shooting, but other than that I wouldn't change a thing.

Close second is my 22 cal Mutant Shorty. It's my go to gun for off hand pest control. Deadly accurate, quiet, trigger is almost as good as the RAW. Best magazines of any gun I've owned. Perfect weight and balance for shooting off hand at small targets.

Taipan Veterans hands down my favorites.

.25 Standard with DonnyFL SUMO shooting at 45fpe just a blast to shoot insanely accurate and deadly quiet. Very comfortable to shoot and still compact at 35". Trigger is one of the best.

.22 Shorty shooting at 30fpe same insanely accurate and deadly quiet. A little less comfortable to shoot being so compact at just under 24" but still alot more comfortable than most guns I've owned. Trigger again one of the best.

Depending on size of pests is how I choose between them.

Favorites I've owned but have sold off

Taipan Mutant Standard .22. Same reasons as its newer replacement but sold it when I heard they were coming out with .25s which didn't happen for 6 months lol so I tried others.

RAW HM1000X .30 awesome power and accuracy. Top notch quality with great comfort and arguably the best trigger on an Airgun out there. My hunting ended up changing after I bought it so too big and too powerful so it had to go. Got replaced by the .25 Veteran and no regrets.

WAR WARP .25 my first high end Airgun and again top notch quality and a very good trigger being a Timney. Accuracy was awesome and had crazy power from a 12" barrel. Would still own it if I was more comfortable shooting Airguns in an AR platform but just can't get comfortable shooting precision with them.

Mrod Gen2 .22 my first PCP and the one I wish I never sold. Loved it and still miss it. Tons of aftermarket parts and a MM barrel capable of 1/2 MOA at 50yds when I could do my part. Wish I could get that one back.

you bet my carbine was a tack driver but the impact is right there

@ blackdiesel-- that .25 Cricket is one nice rifle!

My favorite is my only PCP: Air Arms 200T in .177. I added a HUMA external type regulator and a LDC, tuned the trigger and adjusted the hammer spring and transfer port choke to yield about 11.5 fpe with JSB 10.3 gr. My favorite 25 meter reactive targets are aspirin tablets!

I would very much like to find a Cricket rifle like BD's but in .177.

"hynzie"Charlie down at ga airguns had two of them last time we spoke
Did Charlie have a 177 cal? They are very hard to find. Camp Fussell here on AGN has one but I have not seen anyone else post that they have one. I've been to Charlie's shop a couple times and he worked on my Cricket. We have been trying to plan a shoot for a while but weather and other issues have gotten in the way.

It won't help you to answer your question but my favorite gun is the one in my hand when I am shooting. Each serves a different purpose so what I have in my hand depends on what I am endeavoring to do currently. I shoot .22, .25, .257, .357 and .457 guns with .25(7) and .357 being my favorite calibers.

Marauder's / Armada's are the best bang for the buck. AirForce offerings are good long range shooters and excellent game guns in the proper caliber. Kalibr Gun's are heavy, accurate and powerful. FX's are lighter weight and accurate but not the most powerful (but acceptable). Big Bores like the Texan's, Bulldog and Sam Yang offerings and others are great, big pig killer's and large game takers where legal. English guns are for the most part under powered but VERY accurate. The English companies Brocock, Daystate, Air Arms etc. have realized the American lust for power and although late to the game are catching up with some of their recent offerings.

Of course as always your taste and mileage may vary greatly!
