Favorite pellets/slugs for Western Airguns Rattler .30 cal owners

For any Western Airguns Rattler owners in .30 cal what pellets/slugs have you had good or bad results with? I like to cast my own slugs but don't like the old shotgun approach
to ordering stock or custom molds. It can get pretty costly in a short time plus I don't like to have a bunch of unused molds and sizing dies lying around. What distances are you able to shoot with good results?

TJ's has a non-advertised .300 1:16 but you have to ask for it. IIRC.

Thanks for the information about the barrel. I think it would benefit from a tighter twist than the standard 1:26 barrel.
