Favorite scopes you own

One of the best buys in scopes today is the Athlon Midas Tac 4-16x. That is probably the best scope i've ever owner. Clear and bright, no frills, no lighted reticle, but does have a zero stop. They put the money where it belongs, in glass. No weird eye box jut a great scope that's lighter than a lot of scopes.

I also love SWFA fixed power snipers. 1x being my favorite. I have one that is as clear as the Athlon. I dont know if i got a good one or what.
I recently traded for a 10x side focus that is super, so i'm thinking it's par for the course. I've had four 10x over the years and all were great but one was kind of fuzzy. I had just had cataract surgery, so that may have contributed, even though i did'nt notice any other scopes looking weird??

Another favorite is the Vector Veyron. I have two, a 3-12x and a 10x both fantastic compact scopes. I did buy a 4-6x and didn't like the eye box, it wasn't horrible, just not perfect like the others.

I tend to use more fixed power scopes than variables. I have an Optisan EVX 10X,an Airmax 10x, the Veyron and two SWFA 10X and one 12x.

I bought-tried-sold over twenty scopes in the past half dozen years. What I have today all are keepers.
I am shooting rings only in a gun club, my guns all high power and not suitable for plinking at home - other then a property damage protection around my wallnut threes in the backyard.
My favorite scopes are
IO 5-30 pro, and
Falcon X50, which I am dual purposing between my .22/.25 FX Impacts and my 308 f-class.

I'm just commenting.

Fixed power = I'm the opposite because one way or another I eventually feel the need to either have more magnification or more FOV.

Had a MT 4-16 and found it a excellent scope except it wasn't easy seeing the reticle below a certain point in magnification, then sold it and went to 6-24's or 5 -25's.

Various SFP scopes, FFP Helos G2 2-12, or March 1-10, for scratching the itch when I want low magnification.

I could point out things that I did, or did not like, about all my scopes, including super expensive ones. So we have to take the downsides with the upsides and use what floats your boat the most.

Generally right now the Helos G2 line is my #1 go-to choice for feature set, versatility, and value they offer for the money.

Hmmm, what scopes might come out in 2025 that would sway me? Whatever this is, these are, they better be darn good or I'll stay with what I have for now.

I suppose my old S&B PMll 5-25x56/H59 is my favorite out of all of them.

I have an older 1.5-4x Leupold AR MOD Mark 1 with the Green Dot shake awake and auto shut off I will never sell. My Arkens are also some of the best I have ever owned.

Sightron is my favorite so far. Anything in the SIII line which is made in Japan and has Japanese glass. I currently own two of the SIII 10-50x60 PLR scopes and couldn't be happier. I don't "require" the 50x but it this scope gives me great brightness all through the magnification range. Have a Leopold on my AR that I do like very much. As for March, I've never owned or used one but I'm sure, at their price, they are fabulous.
