FX feeding notchy after new breech oring

Just replaced my first breech oring on my M3 with the recommended size FX specified 6.35x1.27NBR70.
But loading now feels notchy. You can feel when the hole of the probe moves over the oring.

Nothing to worry about?
Or did I do something wrong?

Maybe ring isn't seated all the way into groove for receiving it. That's all I can think of OR non-uniform thickness of ring. Try a different o-ring (same size) & see if problem persists. Maybe debris in o-ring groove?

I had a good look and it's seated all the way round. To the eye no difference in height above the brass part.
Took another on from the bag (got about 50) same feeling. But It might be just me not remembering what it felt like new.
I'll try "massaging" it in with a box of pellets. Hope that does the trick.

On all 3 of my FX guns (Bobcat, Boss, Royale) I can slightly feel the probe (hollow) "sealing" against or pushing past the o-ring. If that's what you consider "notchy", it's normal for mine. Has never caused damage to o-ring.

yes you can feel the edges of the probe port "catching" the oring.
I'll consider it normal then. Thanks.

if the probe goes through it, it will compression-fit after sitting for some time with the probe in it .. put alittle super slickum on it (silicone oil)
