FWB Feinwerkbau 300s tyro lefty

I've never seen a movable Tyrolean cheekpiece, but some airgun Tyros did have vertically adjustable buttplates.
Thanks , i have seen two lefty Tyro stocks on guns (pictures) , but i have high cheek bones . i can order a lefty Tyro from Custom stock UK but don't know if it would fit me . The one i saw was at a gun show and didn't fit , to low . but it was a PB rifle . Maybe one of the shows this year i will see one to try ,even if it is righty ..

I as well have one -

Older picture, I had just taken it out of the safe and been trying out different ammo with it. Love this gun, although my eyes aren’t what they used to be- was struggling with the peeps- had mount scope lol .

Tyro stocks do tend to be rather individualistic, and tiny variations matter. I have one HW 55T that fits me perfectly, but others that don't, even though they look identical from arm's length!

If a Tyro cheekpiece pushes your line of sight up too high, another solution might be sight risers of some sort. The FWB 300S Universal can be set up for high or low sights lines, and came with a rear sight riser and two different front sights. And all kinds of risers are made for modern match guns.

Just wondering how many if any of these anyone has seen out there? I was fortunate enough to aquire one a while back, but I've never even seen a picture of another one.
I know a collector who will be a vendor at the Indiana Airgun Show who is bringing one. I can’t wait to see it! There’s a good chance it’ll leave with me

I've showed this Ballard 25-20 here before, just to share again. One of my Schuetzen rifles, offhand shooting at 200 yds. the 300S is my winter and year round indoor shooter. It really helps to keep your eye and find your flaws when you've taken a shoot...Opps I pulled to the left, damn I flinched just a hair,I swung past when I pulled the trigger. Not having the rifle blast, kick, etc really helps. "Gorgeous Ugly" Ballard 22 with unbelievable woodwork on stock...so gorgeous almost ugly......

Well,I guess I should explain the "other" part of "Gorgeous Ugly" there are 18 screw holes on top of barrel. gun was built in 1935. It is a center fire action,so AW Peterson Gunsmith would put the 22 Rimfire bore off to the side to hit the rim to fire cartridge ,just how you do it . So the bore cocks from right to left. THEN you turn the barrel and mill the octagon so everything comes out straight. Quite the machine work. So the scope adjustments on the old Lyman style scopes were running out of adjustment. I took a 1/8x1.0x12" flat stock taped it onto top of barrel. Then set the scope on with the crosshairs centered for full scope adjustment. I bore sighted at the bull 50' away.then slid the scope or canted it so it also was on the bullseye. Marked it then made new bases to mount the Unertl bases onto and everything came out in line, with scope to bore . I have always wondered how all these guys just kept drilling holes and mounting more bases and ran out of scope adjustments and couldnt figure it out!. Like my post I did here on ..."Burris Rings the only way to go" Even thou the crosshairs were centered the bore was off enough to run out of adjustments. SO ...thats really where the Gorgeous ugly came in, cause this barrel on top is a mess ! LOL I could fill the holes file it down and reblue to look good, but does give the gun its character and story . didnt mean to be so long winded...maybe I should take a pic and post it.thanks guys.Pete
