few of my air pistols

I like them all.

A couple are in carbine stocks.

I am able to shoot them pretty good at 25yds,The better ones stay within 1/2"at that range.

I did some trigger work on the "Chinese" ones, helped out a lot.

The Vogel Match Pellets are working great in my Crossman 1720,I am able to get 3/8"and sure the pistol can do better than that.

Boyd’s inletting is funky, so your action will be loose.

On mine, I shimmed both sides (where the trigger assembly slides in) with reshaped thin plastic cards, then glued them with Gorilla glue—not visible when the action is in.

I also laid 3 O-rings—2 where the air tube lays and a cut one under the rear cap section.

Overall, it has become very solid with no more side play or teeter totter movement.

Moreover, I sanded the whole stock to rid of slight imperfections, then waxed it with Johnson’s post fine sanding.

Most people will be OK with Boyd’s overall finish, but I am the type who demands perfection—-no flaws or it goes.

To reiterate, I feel queasy when I see a slight scuff or scratch.
