Field target gun tote decorations

I built this gun tote a few years ago. I wanted it to look old so I put a thick coat of gray primer on it followed quickly by a can of green gloss enamel. The paint shattered like glass when it dried. Looks like old windows frames or something.
I dug around for some stuff to decorate it. And found an old steering wheel cover and some car emblems. So I knocked it all together.

Anyone want to guess what kind of car that emblem is from? And how much it’s worth?

I had no idea. I just put that emblem on because I thought it was cool for an airgun box. I had a big box of emblems at the time.


And if anyone wants it bring cash.
One man’s trash I guess.

Just saw one at the Hershey Antique Auto Show.

I believe it was a 1958/9 Chevrolet Biscayne with a level air suspension.

BINGO we have a winner.
I just stumbled across this emblem in a bunch of stuff.
I loved spending a weekend walking the hills of the Carlisle swap meet.
I looked up the emblem on E bay. They are selling for close to a thousand bucks.

In 58 my mother was 13 too,YOB 45, actually May 11 45, so my mother popped out very shortly after the Damn Nazis was told politely to go home on May 5.

That looks very RETRO and is quite Cool
Only issue I see as a FT competitor is that of adding weight, honestly UN-necessary weight you will be toting around for hours on end.
Getting arm stretched & fist cramped is not a good recipe for better shooting / score

It’s ok I have been using it since 2011 . Only problem I ran into was it holds water when it rains.

I don’t usually carry the sand bag

Build a shooting cart.
Jogger baby strollers are very inexpensive at your local thrift store.
I bought this one for $25.00.
Note: I do not have that rifle any longer but, I do have the scope..

The owner was killing it on points because the pneumatics still worked! Very rare for this car
